Sabrina gave a look of surprise at the stack of papers, but quickly smiled up at Alice. “Of course it’s alright, so long as you give me a bit of extra time to grade it all.” She said, laughing lightly. “I’m always alright with long essays, it shows enthusiasm for History, and how could I not be alright with that?” She said with a nod. “Did you want some help with summarizing it or would you like to keep your current length?”

      “ Oh, I adore history. Especially the history about the second wizarding world...you know, I’m quiet proud of my father.” the brunette smiled to herself before looking back down at the rolls or parchment. “ No, I mean...I do not know? If you’re alright with so many rolls, I’m alright with letting them this way.”

   Alice smiled lightly as the other spoke, her eyes roaming excitedly around and her ears were listening to every single word Astraia was telling. the brunette was so excited. they asked a question they already knew the answer to - but, the answer amazed her. “ that’s totally what I was looking for! I mean, I always wondered why it’s one of my favorite subjects...now I might have got the asnwer.”

Daisy picked up her handbag and headed out her classroom door, turning to lock it up with the intention of making her way towards the Great Hall for some food. Putting her key in her pocket, she strolled down towards the stairs when she found herself being approached by someone.

   “ Professor Bell!” the brunette quickly said, jogging after the other while a pile of books was pressed against her hest. “ Do you have a moment?”

Sabrina Halloway was in her classroom grading papers and busying herself with cleaning up after the last class– silent spells were marvelous. The door to her classroom was left wide open, as was the usual while she wasn’t with a class. Hearing the approaching footsteps, she looked up with a warm smile. “What can I do for you?” She asked, looking back down at the papers in front of her and halting the magic she was using to clean with a flick of her wand.

    Alice smiled when the professor greeted her with the usual question, making their way towards the other quickly. “ Hello, so soryr for disturbing.” they made the choice to place the pile of papers they had right in front of the other pile Sabrina had. “ I might have exagerrated with the homework....and wrote like ten rolls instead of one? So, I came to make sure that’s alright...”

“So, yeah, I was, like, contemplating death and its inevitability, and just decided that some granola would go great with this line of thinking, because if I’m gonna greet death someday, I wanna be healthy as fuck, y’know? Like, I wanna take such good care of myself, Ol’ Grim’s just like ‘oh, wow, mate, you’re, like, not even winded. What’s your secret?’ and I can look him right in the eyeholes and say ‘granola’. So that’s why I’m here at this hour. What’s your excuse?” Duke asked, eyebrow raised as he tipped back another handful of granola, perched on a counter in the kitchen. “Awfully late, ain’t it?”

    Alice laughed as Duke continued and continued on speaking, times like this made her kind of proud to be a Prefect. especially when the ones she bumped into where as funny as the one in front of her. “ I’m not here for granola - but, that’s like a super good idea. I’m just here to do my patrols. I guess I caught you in the act?”

Talia was outside running around with her kitten when they had suddenly got caught in the rain when the sky broke open. She quickly scooped the cat up, hid him in her jacket and darted back to the castle. Once she finally got inside to the warmth, Talia pulled down her jacket hood to reveal her kitten now sitting on her head “How did you end up there?” she grinned while she let out a laugh and reached up to pat the cat’s head.

   Alice laughed as they saw the sight - they wanted to have a walk in the rain towards the gardnes, but the sight of Talia and the kitty on her head was impossible to resist. “ You know, cats love climbing! Maybe the kitty thought it’s warmer there...who knows?”

Maddox hovered over the person on the ground “Are you alright? You took quite a tumble” he said with concern in his voice. “Do you feel okay to stand up” he asked holding his hand out.

   “ I’m alright, I’m alright - it’s the books I’m worrying about!” the brunette muumbled and quickly gathered her books, letting a sigh out of relief when she saw them intact, placing them into the hand he was holding to her.

“Look,all I’m saying is Muggles have done studies in many countries and have come to the conclusion that homework is essentially a joke and does nothing but stress students out. So I’m boycotting.”

  “ And what would you do without homeworks? How would you keep yourself grounded, hm? I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t! You wouldn’t even know what to learn. So, cut that crap.”

“I think…” Sophia frowned, but she was actually trying to figure that out, even if it definitely wasn’t healthy. “I think when you’re passed tipsy, therefore drunk, at that stage where you’re on the floor and need someone to help you up? But not throwing up, which means you have to be careful and hopefully your stomach isn’t too bad. That I feel like could be fine. What’s so messy that you need to forget?”

     Alice nodded her head, looking down at the bottle for a second before right up at Sophia - she hasn’t drunk more than two glasses of something EVER. this would be totally something new for her. “ Everything? Does that count as a response? I hppe so..”

“I have got to get my shit together, don’t I?” James sighed, scratching nervously at the back of his head. “I’ve never been good at planning, you know that.”
