If I went back what would happen?

My mom told me yesterday that one of my cousins got robed just walking home from work. She was just walking when a guy came up to her with a nife an demanded her to handover her phone and purse. She did as was told and handed over her purse. He grew agrivated when he didn’t see her phone and yelled to give it to him. She tried to explain that it was in the purse but he was already getting closer to stabbing her. A lady who was witnessing this came to her help just before he could injure her. The guy was distracted long enough for both of them to be able to run away. He chased them both but fortunately they outran him.

My mom always tells me that’s why she and my dad decided to move to the USA. They moved so my brothers and I would never have to go through situations like that or worse. They both work so much(my dad works two jobs my mom works three) to help us as much as they can. They are currently paying for my college tuition. Unfortunately with the current president ending the program that protected my brothers and I the chances of us going back increased. What kind of life will I have if I go back? If I had stayed would I be alive today? These questions scare me and scare the thousands of people going thru the same things I am. I am terrified of the future. My heart goes out to everyone who feels the same way I do. I will try to do what my mom said to do and stay strong.
