I asked Hetalia Amino which pairing they wanted me to draw as a change of pace from GerAus.

Y'all want to know who the fandom is really doing dirty? Like, sure Lithuania is viewed as a pushover, Poland is often viewed as an annoying crossdresser, Latvia is viewed as a helpless child, and Estonia is often jokingly referred to as an incel, but you wanna know who the fandom rarely gets right? What character is referred to as a soft uwu baby boy who doesn't like fighting, who just wants to take care of everyone, is considered the ultimate mom friend, aside from Ukraine?
FINLAND
Hima has shown us that Finland can be brutal, bloody, even ruthless in a fight. He knows how to handle a gun exceptionally well, and has even been shown to enjoy fighting. He was really upset when Sweden called back his troops, he wanted to see what Lithuania could do. He wanted to get in on that, whinily crying, "No, Mr. Sweden! We can't go, we have to fight!" He comes off as very sweet, but the fandom rarely remembers the fact that Finland has seen some serious shit, and has done equally crazy things. If anything, Finland should be viewed with that same loving terror that the fandom lays on Russia. Finland is no baby, and he will kill you without remorse.

Quick HC Dump
Latvia and Lithuania are really old. They're the two oldest personifications in Europe, and they've watched basically every other European representation pop up. I hc their lives to have started when a defining moment of their culture popped up. For Latvia, it was when Rīga was founded in 1201. For Lithuania, it was basically as long as the first mentioning of these people, which was about 1009 . These are the old men of Europe!
Estonia, though, is a bit harder to pin down. If I were to say "Estonia was born when Estonian was first written or spoken," I could say he appeared anywhere from 1300-1524. If I said, "Estonia was born when Tallinn was founded," he would have been born in the 10th century. I dont know which I like more. But I'm leaning towards making Estonia the youngest in my headcanons.
I'm going to die mad about the fact that Latvia could be a member of the Lollypop Guild, and I refuse to write him shorter than 5' 5", the height I headcanon for Poland.
Latvia dealt in illegal things while under the USSR, and he supplied Estonia with ABBA records, and Billy Joel records for Lithuania. (Headcanon inspired by a recent thing Ask-Aph-Baltics wrote.)
Latvia could get away with murder, he's more cunning and manipulative than people give him credit for.

Reminder that puffins are extremely social and like to fit in with their friends, so they will adopt mannerisms and interests of the group. So there is a good chance this little guy is trying to be friends with the photographer by showing his interest in the camera.
