ik there's been questions of continuity re: ringwatch BUT what i'm almost certain is intentional is how ill-fitting frank's wedding ring is. like you're telling me they couldn't get the right size ring for patrick ball? there's no reason for that ring to be slipping and sliding (honestly a hazard in the er) as much as it has been

We are overlooking the fact that Percy invaded a cruise ship called the Princess Andromeda to save Annabeth… the same way the original Perseus quested for Andromeda who was tied to the mast of a ship and rescued her.

History doesn’t repeat but it sure does rhyme.

I think it’s interesting that when Clarisse and Percy are arguing, Percy’s initial concern is Annabeth and Clarisse’s initial concern is the fleece, and then throughout the episode they both end up changing course. Percy finds Annabeth, he frees her and he knows that the chances of Luke killing her after healing her with the fleece are low. She gets Luke to admit where the fleece is and he’s distracted by their conversation, giving Percy a clear path to the fleece. Meanwhile Clarisse hears the demigods say they’re gonna kill Annabeth, they leave and she has to choose again between Annabeth and the fleece. And she chooses Annabeth because she doesn’t want to keep leaving soldiers behind. It shows that Percy’s severe personal loyalties AS WELL AS Clarisse’s overwhelming sense of duty both need to be kept in check in order for them to actually save anything
