Hey :) You obviously ship/believe Kaylor is real (so do I) can you say like your top reasons why you think they are/were together? Just curious on your opinions on this cause I agree with most of your posts and comments about them.. Love your blog! xo
1. The Karlie Kloss shrine in Taylor’s apartment. Have you heard of anyone who showers his/her apartment (or even just his/her room) with their platonic bff’s photos? I have not met nor heard anyone other than Taylor. Okay, she probably has pictures of her other friends, too, on her walls. But why did the people (NY sessioners, The Rolling Stone) who had been in her apartment only noticed the MULTIPLE photos of Karlie? The number must have been overwhelming, right?
2. Taylor spares a room for Karlie in her apartment. What for? Karlie lives in a multi-million apartment in West Village NY. Among her long list of friends, why would she spare one for someone who lives in the same city where she lives? Why wouldn’t spare it for Selena or Lorde or Abigail, so they’d have a place to stay in when they’re in NY? It would make more sense. (take note: she also makes sure the room has Karlie’s fave snacks. how thoughtful!). Unless they’re trying to replicate Blair and Serena then fine. I’ll give them that.
But, still it’s sketchy for me. Remember around August (more or less 6months after they became friends) rumors about them living together started to spread and Karlie’s team was so quick to deny it as if there’s an urgency to do so? As if there’s a fire needed to be covered up asap. If they’re just bffs, why would react that way? Karlie’s team’s reaction was that one given to media by publicists when their client has been accused of moving in with their boyfriend/girlfriend. They were so defensive as if there was something wrong with “supposedly” two PLATONIC BFFs possibly living together(…unless they’re more than what they say they are). However, in the Rolling Stone feature of Taylor, Taylor herself confirmed Karlie has a room in her multi-million dollar penthouse.
3. Their eyes. The way they look at and act around each other. We all have seen how Taylor looks at her other friends. We also have seen how Karlie looks at her other friends. I have never seen Taylor tho look at Selena, Abigail, Lorde, etc. the way she looks at Karlie. There’s just this intense gaze in her eyes that’s only visible when she looks at Karlie. As for the model, Karlie’s stares in her photographs with Toni Garrn, with whom she was rumored to have a romantic relationship before, were the same look she has for Taylor. You can lie with your words but never in the way your eyes glow when you’re looking at someone you love.
4. Kaylor resembles Swiftgron. It’s the same sudden intense deep friendship.
5. The first public sighting/images of their hands touching each other. That slight hand brush while opening the door. If you have failed to acknowledge the sexual tension in that, are you even a human being with emotions and senses capable of feelings? Also, there was no reason for Taylor to put her hand on Karlie’s other than she just wanted to hold her. The door was already open and if she really wanted to help her, she could have just put her hand somewhere else. Maybe on the door itself to swing it open? And if you have a super close BFF, do you or have you ACCIDENTALLY put your hand on hers while opening a door? the way Taylor’s hand did? Hmm
6. At the AMAs. There’s so much in that night:* the way taylor protectedly held karlie’s hand while heading to the backstage. the videos of them being all over each other when taylor was about to receive her special award (until Selena got into the picture and ruined everything for us)
* when Taylor finished her performance and Karlie was clapping looking so proud. Also, I don’t know if anybody else had noticed this but Sam Smith looked at Karlie (when she was cheering for Taylor) in a manner that he knew what’s up between them. Sam had sensed it. Ehem, it takes one to know one. Somebody look for that clip or gif please. I’ve been trying to but I’m such a failure ugh* Taylor sitting on Karlie’s lap during their skit with Guillermo. Come on, they couldn’t look more like a real couple. And the way Karlie brushed her chin ever so slightly on Tay’s shoulder?
*Taylor intertwining her arm into Karlie’s. Taylor bear hugging Karlie. Kaylor held hands during Sel’s performance.
*Taylor kissing everyone on the cheek except Karlie. But Karlie was able to sniff on Tay’s hair.
*Taylor and Dianna Agron’s interaction. Karlie seemed to look away. Karlie and Dianna not (photographed (?)) being introduced to each other.
*Dianna possibly not being invited at the after party with Taylor’s squad. Um you were once so close to each other? You even made her part of your song that became a worldwide hit? Okay so maybe D had a different plan but whatever. Maybe it’s just awkward to have Dianna with Karlie around? Idk
7. The Knicks game. The first time they held hands in public. She never held hands with anyone like that. She looked so proud and bold like she’s making a statement with that hand holding.
Also, Karlie was not even there for the game. She was there to support and give Taylor confidence. Furthermore, didn’t it remind you of Cara and Michelle Rodriguez? Jelena? Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher? Have you been to NBA or any basketball game with your platonic friend in matching outfit and then held hands on your way out? Going to a basketball game together is a very couple thing. They should have been caught by the kiss cam!
8. Karlie being the first to ever listen to the entire 1989 album. Do I need to further my point?
9. How they used to spend every single vacant time they had together. When Karlie accompanied Taylor to shop for her fans’ gifts even tho she had a flight to Paris in a couple of hours. Or Taylor spending the day right after she came back from the Southeast Asian leg of her tour.
10. When Karlie skipped the VS swimwear photoshoot just to be in Taylor’s birthday. We all know how important work is for them. Lily, who’s friends with Tay for so long, wasn’t even there. But Karlie was. She even brought the same cake Taylor bought.
11. Their Vogue cover/spread. The Best Best Friend video. You just can’t deny the realness of Kaylor in that video and on their spread photos especially the one where Taylor was wrapping her arm from behind around Karlie while looking at a distance.
12. The 1975 vids/clips. No two platonic friends ever are what they were that night. Just watch it again so you’ll understand my point.
13. Taylor performing again at the VSFS 2014. I could not help but think about the possibility that maybe Taylor pulled everything just to be part of the show again. First, to commemorate how/where their “friendship” started. It’s like their anniversary. But more than that, Taylor really wanted to perform in the show because she knew it was possibly the last time Karlie would be walking as a VS angel. She knew it would be memorable and hard and overwhelming for Karlie. She wanted to be part of that moment in Karlie’s life. And Karlie also wanted her to be with her on that stage in that very special moment.
13. (Yas still 13 lemme live lol) Taylor moving to New York. Karlie confessed it herself in the Best Best Friend video. Taylor wanted to move to London but she forbade her. That’s how much connection they have with each other that Taylor would take Karlie’s advice in a life changing decision making.
Actually there’s a lot more reasons and I missed a lot of it. I can’t put or point out everything in here tho. I’m so sorry 😬
