I see people say laszlo is so in touch with humanity because he’s the youngest vampire but I’d argue it’s because he’s simply refused to let go of it in the first place. everything he cares about is human created. poetry literature fencing gardening musicals hgtv fashion science. the nuance of human existence has been his chose of study for centuries. he can be out of touch sometimes but he is empathetic. he considers other people’s feelings, sometimes at the cost of his own. maybe it’s not his age that grounds him but rather a deliberate choice to align his identity with art
