“Hm, I think you’re not alone on hearing the sound, but yours is more on a musical part than just the sound,” he spoke calmly, watching both the kid and the man. “There is a group that are specialized in sounds. I could try to contact them but their teacher is a little on the mean side.”

He blinked once at the changes then tried to grab the kid. “Get back here!” Ho raised his voice, going after Yuuki. He took hold of his back collar then yanked him away from being hit by the ‘infected’ man. Black tendrils appeared from the ground underneath the apparent ‘infected’ to restrict the movement. Ho kept his grip on the kid’s collar. 

Yuuki wasn’t as fast as the rest of the members in his guild. His reaction time was much slower. If not for Ho, then he would probably suffer from a concussion by now. And, with Ho being much taller than him, he was practically hanging on Ho’s hand. It was amazing how Ho could pull him up with one hand. 

“Ah… thank you, Ho-ssi.” Yuuki said, before looking back at the transformed human and the black shadows that restricted it. “What… is that?” He questioned. Both the transformed human and the shadows.

“That’s an infected that I’ve been telling you about. Don’t worry about it attacking now since it’s now restrained,” Ho explained, putting Yuuki down. “You should have listened to me and stay put. A hit from one of those could kill you easily,” he warned, having Shade submerge the infected into the shadows to transfer it to another place away from humans... and the ‘resistors’.
