iinksplat is a server dedicated to writers connecting with each other and promoting their work! Our server is open to not just fanworksβwe welcome original works; including but not limited to: poetry, short stories, novellas, books, songwriting, etc.! While this server is geared towards writing, we do welcome other creators :) we have channels for photography/pictures and art.

Sure! In our server we have bots like Sprinto to help writers overcome writer's block and to help them get things done. We also have helpful staff who are willing to go the extra mile to answer your questions, resolve any problems for you, or make sure youβre included! And finally, we have what we like to call fandom spaces.
Well, what are these βfandom spacesβ?
Iβm glad you asked! Fandom spaces are channels in our server specific to fans of a media where they can share fics, ideas, headcanons, gifs, ramblesβ well, really anything.
See how little we have? Weβre hoping YOU can change that! Fandom spaces are available on request to be added to the category, and weβd love if you joined with some of your fellow fans so we can create one for you :)

Hmmmβ¦ well, the fandom spaces and the community are sort of our center pieces, butβ we have 18+ rooms available for adult members (NSFW chats and proship chats, the roles to access these are available upon request!) to share general things or to promote their writing!
We also have solid rules designed to help things stay civil in our server and to protect writers against evil AI⦠and these rules are open to suggestions! We have a wonderful team of staff who are open to any proposed rules you think would make the server better, but not just rules! We have tickets you can open for any kind of feedback, concerns, or suggestions you have for our server :)

Ohhh, I see now! Well, I'm here to inform you that weβre playing with the idea of doing various writing or prompt based (so our artist friends can join in) events! This helps our writers get more out there as part of a collective masterlist and gain more recognition when these masterlists roll out! Currently, server staff are thinking about both a May event and a summer (June through July or August) event!

I mean, I think I dovered it all! OH oh OHHH WAIT! Did I forget to mention that we have a prompts channel to give you ideas when youβre running lowβand best part about that yet? Itβs completely open to everyone in the server so we can all share prompts weβd like to see written ;)
For our pride event, participants were encouraged to pick from five prompts and create something from it. These pieces will be at the bottom of this masterlist.
For our summer event, participants were asked to either pick a number 1-30 for a song, or to pick from five prompts.

Several hues make me up and up I was to be, stuffed in a box locked with no key. A crack to let me see light every now and againβ¦ I havenβt seen much but Iβve heard a lot, nothing too interesting from the hushed soft tones being all too muffled. My several hues might as well be severed and never savored. I was supposed to go up upon display and pushed down and forgot about. I wish I could be out of the box not looking through a box.

The "Fanfic Writers Of The SPN Fandom" Discord server is a welcoming environment where fan fiction authors in the Supernatural fandom can come to share their stories, ask for advice, access writing resources, and make friends!

We allow everybody of the ages 15 and older, regardless of experience level or shipping preferences. We also have two different 18+ writing categories - general nsfw, and proship writers. Both are hidden unless you have the role that grants access, so you can choose to see both, one, or neither! Minors do not have access to these sections in the server.

We have self-assigning roles, lots of channels, and monthly writing challenges! Our mod staff are very friendly and ready to help. We also have the Sprinto bot to help encourage writing!

For our summer writing event, we have two options! The first option is to pick a number 1-30 for a random song, which will act as your prompt for the event; you can only ask for a new song once!
The second option can be paired with your song, but it's simply picking from a list of 5 summer-related prompts :)
While you don't receive anything special in return for participating in this event outside of being on a final masterpost once it concludes, we do hope that should you opt to participate, you have fun with it! We're looking forward to seeing you in our server :)
Each week on Sunday, staff releases a schedule of what events will happen on what day of the week in our server, many of which are repeated every week. The time codes listed show up as what the time will be for you in your time zone, that way everyone is correctly informed without a hassle!
Also every week on Sunday, typically early in the morning for EST, we ask members to set writing goals for the week! This is completely optional, but goal-setting is a way that we, the staff team in iinksplat!, try to help our members accomplish more for their pieces.
Per popular request in our suggestions box, we created a day similar to our OC discussion days where every Monday, one of our lovely server members gives a worldbuilding prompt to help develop the setting of your writing!
Similar to Sunday goal-setting (which go through the week), WIP Wednesday is another day where we have participating members set goals, only these goals are for the day! At the end of the day, we (typically) check back in to see how you did.
Server Sprint Night, or affectionately called SSN, is my personal pride and joy event out of the weekly schedule. For a minimum of four hours, every Friday, sprints are run with the intention of writing a lot. No matter rain or shine, delay or not, these sprints run for four hours and of course can continue earlier or later beyond the designated four hours.

Our reading room section is a category in the server dedicated to readersβthatβs right, iinksplat is expanding from only writers to include our readers as well! After all, what is a writer without someone to read it?
Our recent reads channel is a general place for everyone to discuss and talk about books, novellas, or even fan works that theyβve recently read (hence the name). Itβs also a place where they can rant or ramble or complain about some not so great readsβ¦
SUGGESTIONS
Our suggestions channel is where people can ask for or post suggestions for good books, novellas, or fanworks theyβve read or are looking for! Itβs similar to our self promo sections, but this is typically an area where you share the work of others. But if something youβve written fits a suggestion someone is asking for, feel free to send it!
MOVIES
Because all the best movies come from books, we have a section for talking about movies that are based off books. Here you can recommend movies, talk about the differences between the book and the movie, and just general commentary on the media.
RAEβS READING EVENTS
βSo thereβs a monthly event where thereβs a themed based off of the month and you have to either read books based on that theme or read books to fill out a bingo card (just depends)
Then the read-a-thons are probably gonna be weekly events to see how many pages / chapters you can read within the week. Just to give people motivation to readβ
Our goal in the iinksplat server is to help you, in the creative aspect, any way we can. This was led us to running these little dailies with specific prompts or goals in mindβwe want to get you thinking and working; and hopefully one of the prompts really fits your fancy!
