Escaped Prisoner of Innocence
One of my favorite Pieces I have done is “Prisoner of Innocence” it sorta helped me cement my style, and was one of the pieces that helped me get antiquated with Adobe Illustrator. I liked the concept of being tied down to “innocence” and holding that facade, and hide your true habits/quirks. I then recently wondered whats happened to the character in that piece over all this time.
Hence! She is now an “Escaped Prisoner of Innocence” She has changed her look considerably (I also wanted to draw a gyaru....) She is a little more open with her habits and less worried about being tied to her role. This shows how much I’ve grown to understand Illustrator, and how much I have evolved my art style. I’m REALLY proud of this one.
Drawing the background was really hard because I was so excited to draw the character that I focused so much of my time and effort to get her just right. When I got to the background I was less enthused. So it took me longer to get it right. However I poured so much detail into the character I know you may miss some things I thought would make a difference (but probably don’t)
