Benefits of Moringa aka Brède Mouroum
Educational videos
Benefits 😅and challenges 😱
Part 3😉 Personal experience
Benefits:
Despite lockdown I was able to demonstrate my sewing and culinary skills to my lectures by recording myself and then send it via teams or email💯.With time,I found video editor extremely friendly to use.
Challenges:
To have a perfect video it has a few challenges.
First of all, I need to choose a video site which is easy to manipulate as well as it is free😉.
Secondly, it requires lots of time and patience as there are a few trials such as cutting, editing, pasting thats need to be done!!😩
Thirdly, sending the video via email is not easily accessible as it is bulky therefore one drive is needed !!😶
Wishing you all the very best 💯✨
Educational videos
Part 2 😉
We have different video editing tools such as:
Note that this is only 2 examples given
OpenShot which is a free version and easily to use.
Kdenlive which is easy to use open source and it supports an unlimited number of videos and soundtracks.
An online google sheet was used to list many more examples with their description and key features 👍🏻
Educational videos
Let’s us find out when and how to use an educational video ?🤔
An educational video is a video whose primary purpose is to educate. Educational films have been used in classrooms as an alternative to other teaching methods.
Videos are used to record a topic so that lesson is delivered and students can understand better.
It’s also used for reinforcement of learning
To showcase abilities using technology in learning and teaching
To impress parents and educational leaders
How to use:
Before start of the class for recapitulation, introduction of the topic of the class
End of the class for summarization or oral Question
Personal experience: what is more especially during lockdown I was assigned a video making where I had to explain how to stitch press studs and video to a piece of fabric. I had to make my best to create, edit and all as I was marked on this task. So it can even be used for a test 😅😩
Google Sheets
Google Sheets is a spreadsheet program included as part of the free, web-based Google Docs Editors suite. The service also includes Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Drawings, Google Forms, Google Sites, and Google Keep.
Well, usually we use G.S in Bringing Technological Innovation in our Classroom where I have to share my G.S links for videos and also I use G.S in my classroom when I assigned assessment to my students.
It is quite easy and simple to use G.S
Google Classroom
Google Classroom is a free web service developed by Google for schools that aims to simplify creating, distributing, and grading assignments. The primary purpose of Google Classroom is to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students.
I find it really interesting to use Google Classroom!!
Yes I created my classroom, add “my teacher” and my friends as my students and I share some reading materials, Quizz, questions, some assessments and I gave them a deadline. I was able to correct their work and gave feedbacks.
Personally, I think GC is a platform where information is shared between students and teachers as well as private comments can be added.
Blogging
Blogging!! 😱😱
Let me share my blogging experience with you...😃
I have always heard about a few famous bloggers and I love to read their blog and it appears astounding as they can blog about their daily activities every now and then.
I have always thought that writing a blog is easy until I had to create and start blogging I realised that it is not that easy as we have to accept both criticism as well as compliments.💯
At first I was not able to choose which site to select because there are so many websites about blog. I got some difficulties then I decided to use the website Wix.com to create my blog but unfortunately it does not appear easy for me to use it as personally I find it more appropriate for business purposes.
I swap to tumblr.com and YES, finally I was able to create my blog and share my learning experiences with all of you.👍🏻😃
I can say that I have faced some challenges😣 but eventually while sharing my experiences I got to learn and still learning many new aspects and I am very happy about it.😌
Creative Common
Do you know what is Creative Commons?
Well, it is a global non-profit organization that enables sharing and reuse of creativity and knowledge through free legal tools, with affiliates all over the world who help ensure our licenses work internationally and raise awareness about our work. Creative Commons and OER enable students to take full advantage of what's possible in a completely legal way with free and open resources and tools, not to mention that CC is a great way to kick off conversations about what sharing on the Web means -- and when and how to share appropriately
Personally I was not aware of CC until I learnt about it in my #Bringing technological innovation in the classroom. So I think it is a must to have CC so that everyone can use and remix their work.

Social
Bookmarking Tools
Lately, in my class “Bringing Technological Innovation in the classroom” I have discovered a new word called “Diigo”, but what is Diigo?
So, let us discover it together...
Diigo is a free social bookmarking, research, and knowledge sharing tool created to mimic the ease of taking notes while providing a network for sharing and discovering information.
**_
What Does Diigo Do?_**
Diigo allows you to take personal notes and highlight text information on web pages just as you would on a piece of paper. You can then bookmark and save this information for further review, while adding tags to keep everything organized. In bookmarking this information, you can also choose to share with colleagues and friends to allow them to access the web page, view your notes and highlights, and add their own annotations. All of this information is also saved online and can be accessed by any computer or browser, including cell phones with browsing capabilities.
These are just a few of the possible uses of Diigo in the classroom. To learn more about using Diigo , feel free to visit these pages listed below:

Video Training> I find it interesting to use & I hope the above information and links will help you to integrate Diigo in your classroom!

Quizizz
Have you ever heard about Quizizz ?
Well, Quizziz allows you to conduct student-paced formative assessments in a fun and engaging way for students of all ages. Questions appear on each student's screen, so they can answer questions at their own pace, and review their answers at the end.

We take the hassle out of creating quizzes by allowing you to pluck questions from any quiz, easily add images from the internet, auto-save your progress and tons of other features. Learn more. You can also download the reports as an Excel spreadsheet. Teachers have multiple options to customize their quiz session to toggle the level of competition, speed.
2 types of classroom assessment
Online
Assessment Tools
Teachers need to know how well students are assimilating lessons so as not to leave anyone behind. We assess each student at the end of the quarter, term, and semester and bestow a final grade that reflects both their understanding and their level of effort.
Online assessment tools for teachers are a necessary part of the remote learning picture. If you have a handle on their learning gaps then you can adjust your lessons to target them. Grades matter, but so does understanding and being able to build on lessons to-date.
Examples of OATs:
HOT POTATOES-Already posted a piece of info.in my blog
Quizzes and questions
Google Forms - easy to use
Kahoot - game-based assessment tool
In Bringing Innovations and Technology in the classroom, I have also been taught how to create Kahoot.. Here’s the link:

Have some fun!
A video on how to use Kahoot.. If you have not yet create yours...hope this will be a sort of help to you. Good Luck!
I know at times its quite boring to read long articles therefore this is why I’ll post a link on “What is Google Classroom?”
Don’t forget to watch it!
Personally, Google Classroom is quite easy to manipulate.. At the beginning I thought it would be difficult but I was completely wrong!
In my classroom, I post reading materials, videos, links on Roles and Responsibilities of Family members and on Minerals and Vitamins and in the upcoming days new topics and other tools will be introduced . We ask questions and share our views... we also assign our peers some MCQ, quiz, assignments and we mark them using a Google sheet with is very practical. It saves times for both teachers and students.
However, from my own experience, while setting quiz/assignments. Precision on correct answer is a must else confusion will be created which will eventually be a mess!!
Hello Everyone! This is a Video on LMS.. Hope it will be useful to you.. Enjoy.
