I'm making my voice heard. Incredibly sexy and compelling of Wei Wuxian that he never feels the need to self-flagellate over the things he did in the war or as the Yiling Patriarch. He never asks for others' forgiveness. He never tries to "redeem" himself in the eyes of the people who love him. Lots of other books where the fact that the protagonist committed blatant war crimes and the angst they feel about that would be like 90% of the runtime, but my man Wei Wuxian spends more time being embarrassed about the way he acted at parties as a teenager than the fact that he has a killcount in the thousands. King shit honestly.
