I dunno, every now and then I just randomly get really annoyed with the way the Duffers wrote Steve in season 4 by sh!tting all over his character development from half of season 2 and the whole of season 3, by having him regress to mooning over Nancy like it was season 1 and the start of season 2 again.

Steve was only good in season 4 when he wasn’t around Nancy.

And on the flip side Nancy was only good in season 4 when she wasn’t around Steve.

When they were in scenes together it was so cringeworthy and awkward I got second hand embarrassment.

the thing about steve harrington is that he's one of the most compelling characters of all time. he starts the show an extremely popular jock and now he's got two friends: a girl he had a crush on that turned out to be a lesbian and a fourteen year old. the only fight he's ever won in his life was against a soviet spy. he keeps a bat full of nails in his car. he barely graduated high school. he beat up a racist. he's terrible at flirting. he has daddy issues. he spends an entire season wearing a little sailor outfit, hat included. and he's even bisexual

It’s only a small thing but it kinda irks me that people write that Max has previously driven Steve’s car, hence his issues with her driving in season 4, but in season 2 episode 9 “The Gate” Max drives Billy’s Camaro to the tunnels, and not Steve’s BMW.

I don’t recall any scene of Max driving the beemer, but I do recall the scenes of Steve regaining consciousness when Max is driving the Camaro and rightfully freaking out. Hence him not wanting her to drive his car (that and she doesn’t have a licence).

I know it’s a silly thing, but it just annoys me for some reason.
