It may be just me, but Sandor’s encounter with the Brotherhood without banners in ASoS is pretty funny in hindsight.

Like, this mysterious and very dangerous band of outlaws catches (or more like, finds him sleeping drunk under a tree) the Hound, who is currently also an outlaw and is also very dangerous. They bring him to their secret shelter, to have the trial, the Hound temporarily kills their leader, outlaws take the Hound’s money and kick him out. Then they travel to another place and spend the night there — and the Hound comes there, tells them they all suck and disappears, while the outlaws are like, “WTF, dude, how did you find us?” They move again and find another place to stay, but the Hound finds them AGAIN and kidnaps their most valuable hostage, and a book later the outlaws still can’t find them. When you read it as a part of the book, it looks pretty normal, considering all the crazy stuff happening in other chapters, but by itself, it’s like an episode from Monty Python.

At this point, I won’t be surprised if in the next book Sandor’s return will be him just showing up at the Hollow Hill to tell Thoros his band sucks even worse than before.
