She was wrapped in fine gowns by girls who discreetly rubbed their palms together as they walked up a great many stairs to her chambers each morning so as to avoid her discomfort.
She smiled with a practiced ease and spoke cleanly and crisply from atop her gilded throne. She had all her teeth (and no new ones) which remained only as sharp as theyād been before (which wasnāt all that much).
Sometimes, she had him check. Had him count as she tipped her head back. Had him swear on his name as to whether anything looked any different. It hadnāt in all the times heād checked but he never rolled his eyes at her request.
(AKA Ella Ashmore was only mostly dead...and of all people Tadius is, surprising nobody, pretty okay with that).

Thereās a beat of silence, in which they both breathe. The water underneath laps gently at the edge of the moat, threatening to overtake the toes of Tadiusā boots.

Now my thoughts are confused and new so dont judge me for anything here pls (ill try to break it up in paragraphs):
I dont like that in stream Avid refered to the end of VSMP as "yaoi slop" multiple times. Like i get being retroactively unhappy with something but after he himself talked alot on stream on how he used vampirism as an allegory for queerness and it was very personal to him, that feels odd and not accurate. Especially because what i would class as yaoi slop is straight men flirting and playing it up for the bit. Not two queer people playing out a queer storyline. Sure its a bit rushed and imperfect but like.. its unscripted role-playing i feel like its very good for that!
In general yes more attention needs to be paid to female ccs! But also do we need to put down male creators/relationships because of it? Yeah the fandom clearly has a problem with overemphasizing m/m ships (as any fandom does rn tbh) but to me the main issue is the underemphasis on female ccs and completely putting down the m/m as bad now isnt that helpful or necessary and just kinda distracts from the real issue? Again especially when its actually queer people doing the m/m
On scott specificly: i think there is a lot of pressure to form opinions based on vague tweets or speculation. I dont feel comfortable doing that here. We have incomplete information (no statements from either of them of what happened just the inference that something did). So for now i will clasd this as unfortunate but no one at fault.
Avid saying he made his bf!character non binary as a protection against shipping feels wierd and like a misunderstanding of queer labels/identity to me but i can let it slide as just figuring stuff out and its complicated.

Parasocial this parasocial that I dint think I'm being parasocial when this affects me emotionally. Ultimately i belive my initial reaction to realizing Avid and Scott have each other blocked on insta (or someone blocked someone) and the vague tweets is the same as if my comfort character died on a show: oh no this is my safe space media/special interest and it suddenly doesn't feel so safe anymore.
Thats a terrible feeling especially for an autistic person where my special interest is such a big thing.
I would never blame the creators for this, its their life, they can do what they want. Thisnt about that. This isnt about the CCs at all.
Its just about how sometimes a special intrest getting tainted can make you feel like the rug was pulled from under u suddenly and there is no where safe to run in your mind and that sucks

The difference between Shen Jiu's and Shen Yuan's face:
After Shen Yuan takes over the body of Shen Qingqiu, his face begins to slowly change bit by bit until it more closely resembles his own instead of Shen Jiu's
"Little Beast" is a trigger for Luo Binghe:
As Luo Binghe makes his way to greet his husband, his cheerful mood is suddenly and violently interrupted.

He freezes. Didā¦ did he hear that wrong? He wants to have heard that wrong. He must have.
Pain Tolerance:
In preparation for the abyss, SQQ taught Luo Binghe a wide range of cultivation techniques that slightly reduce pain/ increase a personās pain tolerance, passively and consistently, without informing Binghe of this effect. It would've been suspicious.
One day, the couple finds themselves facing a challenge in which Luo Bingheās cultivation is completely sealed.
The System has been suppressing Shen Qingqiu's grief:
Why was he able to move on so quickly after transmigrating? Itās strange for someone who cares so much. But then, remembering the punishment the system gave SQQ through his dreamscape, itās clear the system has basically complete control over it.
We know the connection between dreams and a person's psyche in svsss. The system suppressing his natural dreamscape gotta have consequences. Severe ones.
Maybe OG!Shen Qingqiu does care:
They hear a far away scream, barely within range to be heard at all. Itās the type of scream a person makes when theyāre suddenly attacked and only notice the attacker when the blade has already pierced them through the core. And the voice was YQYās.
Before QQQ and LQG can even react, they see SQQ flying past them at maximum speed towards the direction of the sound. Itās just for a split second, and theyāre not sure if they really saw what they saw, but the expression on SQQās face is not only worry but absolute terror.
Soul-fragmenting mirror:
Shen Qingqiu comes across an artifact that splits him into several versions of himself taken from different points in time. It's a mirror, and the curse is released when he accidentally breaks it. Now there's a very confused, freshly transmigrated Shen Yuan, a Shen Qingqiu at the height of his gushing-for-his-white-lotus-Binghe days, a Shen Qingqiu who's just stabbed Luo Binghe in the heart and thrown him into the abyss, a Shen Qingqiu who just met Luo Binghe again after he returned way too fast, one who just thought he escaped the water prison, etc., etc.
And then there's Luo Binghe in his full demon lord glory, who now has to somehow keep all of these fragments safe.

Imagine Liu Qingge one night bursting into the warm red pavilion to finally confront Shen Qingqiu about his behaviour and how heās being a disgrace to the sect, only to find him surrounded by a bunch of children, teaching them how to read and write.
The shit teacher who canāt teach at the peak teaches at the brothel?? Except it was the one time SQQ had lost a bet, and this was his payment.
āShape of the heartā pollen hit the peak lords like a semi truck: At a peak lord meeting some disciples decide to prank the peak lords by releasing pollen of a flower called āshape of the heartā. When affected by the pollen, a personās physiological reactions to their emotions are strongly enhanced, revealing their true feelings no matter how stone faced they usually are, but targeting only the strongest emotion they are experiencing in the moment. The room suddenly goes quiet as the attention of each peak lord wanders one after another to the waterfall of tears Shen Jiu is desperately trying to hide.
SQQ has that nightmare again. The one where Bingge made him into a human stick. Itās just a normal nightmare this time. Brains are weird and his decided weāre doing *that* tonight. LBH wakes up too, having witnessed everything via dream magics. As a master of dreams he knows the difference between dreams made from nonsense and dreams made from true memories. That dream was something his Shizun had really experienced.
