Seungmin Being the Best Boyfriend Ever (FLUFF)
You and Seungmin had been dating for a while and every day felt like a dream. Of course, you fought like normal couples, but you were always able to talk it through and move on stronger than before. Seungmin was often busy with his activities in Stray Kids, practicing new choreography and preparing for their new album release, but he always made time for you. Even if it was just sending occasional memes and “I Love You”s through text, or your nightly FaceTimes so you could see each other at least once.
You loved Seungmin and were happy to know him and be with him, sometimes not getting to see him for long periods of time was hard, but you two managed it. But sometimes, on days like today, on one of Seungmin’s days off, you two would get together and just be.
Today’s agenda didn’t have much in it, the two of you were going to get ice cream and go to the park since it was a warm and sunny day. It was going to be a casual day so the two of you thought it would be cute to wear a matching t-shirt and sweatpant combo, complete with white FILAs. Other people might think it’s cringy but you had always thought it was cute and were really excited when Seungmin had gotten them for you on your one year anniversary.
Seungmin picked you up ten minutes before the agreed time, bouncing on the balls of his feet with a wide smile gracing his handsome face. You bounded out of the house, reaching up a little to kiss his cheek.
“Ready to go, baby?” Seungmin reached for your hand as he spoke, slightly swinging them as he led you down the sidewalk and towards the ice cream parlor.
“Yes!” Your voice was bright with happiness and you had a bit of a skip to your step. “How are the boys?”
“They’re good, it took a bit of persuading to get them to let me come alone. You should visit the dorms sometime, they all miss you.”
“Just let me know when you want me to come, and I’ll be there.”
The rest of the walk was filled with inside jokes and the occasional stops when he had you laughing so hard you couldn’t walk. Seungmin would often just look at you, happy you were his.
When you reached the ice cream parlor, a little mom and pop shop ran by an auntie who knew you both by name, Seungmin stepped up to order for both of you, knowing your order by heart. After the auntie teased you for being cute and filled your cones with your preferred ice cream, you and Seungmin headed back outside to the park across the street. The two of you sat on one of the benches, enjoying the sounds of the kids playing while you enjoyed your treat and each other’s presence.
The two of you were talking about anything and everything like normal when Seungmin paused, eyes sparkling as he looked at you.
“What?” You pouted up at him before breaking into a giggle when he only smiled more.
“I’m just the luckiest boy on Earth.”
“I get to do what I love as a member of Stray Kids and I have such a supportive and loving partner.” You blushed and looked away shyly before responding.
“I’m the lucky one. Being given the opportunity to love you up close in this lifetime, not just as a fan. I really do love you Seungmin. Thank you for spending your day off with me.” Your voice rang with sincerity and Seungmin pulled you into a hug.
