Since my trip to Portugal last year I have fallen in love with the lost Art of handmade decorative tiles. I love the idea of letting your walls tell the story of your life.

Finishing a painting is like finishing a marathon, I'm exhausted but very satisfied.

10 hours of painting today and not much to show for it, but thats the reality of oil painting.

every brush stroke counts but it takes a lot to get there.

I'm happy i stuck to it; I fell out of love with oil painting a couple of years ago and fell in love with watercolour and Gouache paint.

I allowed the oil paint to humble me this week… it will all be worth it nevertheless 🤲 ❤︎
