What Makes a Woman Sexually Excited

If men were fascinated to sensitive women presumably they would appreciate a woman who could orgasm within say 5 seconds of being stimulated. In reality a man wants a woman to offer sex for as long as he needs to ejaculate. On the other hand a woman has no control at all over how long she will get stimulation from sexual activity.

Most women show off by speaking about sex (naturally they mean sexual activity) as if they want it as much as a man does. It’s as if a woman orgasms each and every time a man offers her an erection but at no other time. Try asking women what turns them on and they don’t have a clue. Women generally offer an assortment of options, most of which are not remotely sexual. It is clear that women expect only emotional sensations from sex.

Sexual excitement starts as a subconscious reaction or trigger in the brain. We become aware of stimulation due to the fact this trigger increases the flow of blood into the pelvic area. In turn this enhanced blood flow causes the genital area to become more sensitive to stimulation. For men this improve in sensitivity is very substantial. But a woman is generally unaware of arousal.

In men the increase in blood circulation causes a considerable stiffening of the genital structures (particularly the penis). In young women there is little noticeable swelling of the vaginal structures but in older women (over the age of 40) there can be some apparent swelling around the labia showing tumescence (but not rigidity as in the male) of the clitoral organ. This maximize in sensitivity of the penis or clitoris when mixed with a emotional focus on eroticism, allows a person to stimulate themselves to orgasm.

Muscular stress in the pelvic area increase, culminating in a peak that is suddenly dissipated (giving a sense of release). Orgasm includes the sporadic contractions of the muscles, the emotions of ejaculation of sperm  and the feeling of the extra blood (accumulated in the genitals) flowing apart from the spot.

Younger women do not experience erections. However the sensations of excitement and orgasm are similar as for older women who do experience the physical sensation. So women can masturbate to orgasm with identical frequencies through their active lives. But their responsiveness with a partner only develops later in life. The major advantage of a clitoral erection is an increase in sensitivity in the internal body structures during erotic activity with a partner who provides the appropriate internal stimulation.
