Just for shits and giggles: I made one of these for Surox. With the full knowledge that probably no one is going to be able to answer all the questions correctly. It is in part intended to be an interesting way to exposit, since it tells you the correct answer if you get a question wrong!
Sneezes. "...Why do I feel like people are talking about me?" They aren't, but I'd hazard a guess you'd also wind up on the same list as the other blue-haired doofuses with Noriko anyway. Just for probably different reasons.
So I failed that thing I said I was going to do. I blame GregoriousT.
That said, I have multiple characters that'd have an opinion on the current topic of discussion (darkness) and I am actively restraining myself from breaking them out. Because like. Priorities.
Weird shit with darkness is not a foreign concept to my writing, and in particular one of the oldest concepts in my writing is something called a "Perfect Shadow", a dark reflection of an individual that derives sustenance from suffering. For those who're familiar with my writing on dorkindustri, Yami was one such entity.
...No relation to Persona, to be clear. The origin of the concept is far, far weirder.
I'm... hopefully going to try and get back into things this weekend. I say hopefully because a) ADHD, and b) apparently the Wuthering Waves/Edgerunners collab has my name on it even more than I initially thought.
I'd like to at least finish the draft I have for Lapis and Oktavia. I got that started, but haven't gotten far with it. In spite of having ample time last week. In my defense, I was severely emotionally, physically, and probably also spiritually exhausted.
I'm definitely not getting anything done next week, 'cause I'm looking at very likely working a lot of overtime. It will not be a great time.

Kurumi Igarashi
No, Lapis didn't pick her because she's blue.
Faceclaim: Sicily von Claude from Kenja no Mago
A longtime resident of Mitakihara, Kurumi Igarashi was, for much of her life, pretty ordinary. For... a given definition of ordinary. Born to a middle-class family of martial artists, she was taught an ensemble of different styles from childhood, and would eventually wind up establishing her own dojo towards Mitakihara's outskirts- the Igarashi School of Anything-Goes Martial Arts.
Said dojo wound up making it out of a certain "cataclysmic superstorm" mostly unscathed, and so became a major pillar of the local community during rebuilding efforts, mostly by accident. During this time, in spite of the difficulties of rebuilding, Kurumi married her childhood sweetheart- one Saki Mineha.
It wasn't meant to last, unfortunately; four years on, Saki would pass away from a terminal illness, leaving Kurumi to grieve mostly alone, with only a handful of students around to give her purpose.
Four years later, she ran into the Incubator who had yet to name himself 'Lapis'- still somewhat reeling from the psychic attack that had changed him, and looking for someone to test his new magi template with. Kurumi was initially skeptical- one of her students had been approached by Kyuubey not too long prior, and fortunately was intercepted by a bow-wielding woman with pink hair that Kurumi didn't know yet, so she already to an extent knew what the Incubators' deal was. It took... convincing.
Ultimately, of course, she would agree to a contract with Lapis, and so became the first of his magi- a magical girl who would never become a Witch.
The powers granted to her by this contract come in two main forms, plus a secret third. Her monocle, and her watch. Specifically chosen by Lapis, Kurumi has the ability to gaze across time and space using her monocle, and the ability to cross time using her watch. These both have significant limitations; the monocle can only observe one time period at a time, and requires active focus to adjust, making it less useful the less time she has to use it. The watch, meanwhile, requires significant coordination to use effectively, as demonstrated by Kurumi's accidental crossing into the wrong timeline seen previously. It can technically move forwards and backwards through time, but both Kurumi and Lapis have agreed that using it this way is a bad idea.
Kurumi's monocle mostly gets used for gathering information from across timelines; it can technically be used in combat, but doing anything more involved than seeing more than a second or two into the future tends to be too much to handle in an active fight. It's very useful for ambushes, though.
Kurumi does also have a dose of lightning in her powerset, however it's not particularly strong by itself; mostly she uses it in combination with her own physical strikes.
Currently gazing across timelines with her monocle. "...Wh-what is that?" Kyuubey. Next question. "I DON'T THINK THAT'S KYUUBEY."
"... Love of any kind really is both the best friend and the worst enemy of Kyubey's magical girls. Much as it can help raise someone up, it's all too common it'll send someone plummeting right down into despair, too." A small, bitter chuckle follows that statement.
"It really is a revolting feeling, thinking about how willing they are to exploit it to make that final moment of despair all the richer, you know?" Speaking as someone all too familiar with it, after all.
"Yeah. A part of me's wondered whether the only reason they never approached me was because I was too old. Probably would've been a ripe target otherwise..."
"...it is distinctly possible. Though, I have questioned if the belief that emotional volatility drops off too much with age is actually well-founded."

Multiple hands appear around the borders of reality ; phasing through the circular lines of time and space to come out to the other side and, without warning, grab the blue Incubator. It's a ghostly, weightless feeling—to be held in the air by both something and nothing all at the same time.
“Look at you.”
A chorus of voices echo throughout the vicinity, far above the ground below. “You are interesting,” One arranges itself among all the resounding ones, weary like Miki Sayaka. “Fascinating, even.” Another one joins into a duet with the previous, monotone like Akemi Homura. As the other voices fade into a hummed melody, the two left pose a question.
“Do you truly believe in a gentle ending?”
Lapis was certainly no stranger to being picked up unprompted, and usually by decidedly nonhuman means, but it would be a lie to say he wasn't surprised by their sudden appearance. A more welcome alternative to the draconic claws from last time something like this happened, but...
"...to call me fascinating. I believe humans have a phrase for this- to be a pot calling a kettle black." This Incubator could immediately tell this was some kind of godly presence- very likely the same one backing one Sayaka Miki- but it wasn't anything he was expecting. He's to an extent familiar with one godly presence across multiple timelines, but this one is a different story.
He ponders on that question for but a moment. "I would not describe it as gentle. To push for a future that doesn't sustain the universe on endless suffering... there is nothing gentle about that. It is a fight that must be fought." Though... perhaps what she means is the hopeful aftermath of that- a universe instead sustained on passion and hope. Maybe gentle isn't the best word to describe that idea... but it certainly isn't the wrong one.
"I miss my wife, Sayaka. I miss her a lot. I'll be back."
