BNHA theory
Ya know how my boy, Todoroki, has a burn over his fireside eye? Well then why the heck did it burn if he makes flames from his body? Answer, the ice and flames only get really close to his skin. They donât actually touch. He changes the atoms around him into ice or fire. Also, a factory might be that itâs his own heat touching him. Not from a scoulding hot tea pot
Also I know I havenât read the mangas *gets assasinated* but there could be something Iâm over looking. If you have an answer, feel free to comment (nicely)
AHH IM FRICKIN OUT
So ya know how Nintendo decided to make a new Zelda design for Ultimate? What if thatâs just what they wanted us to think? What if something like what happened in OoT? What if the BotW Zelda died after she let her powers stop. After using them for all those years, once her body had enough time to catch back up, so did the ages. Out of depression, Link goes back to the shrine of resurrection, wanting to escape his emotions, and falls back into a stasis. But when he reawakens by the next Zelda in a time of need to fight against the hands, he fights, but this time he fights to avenge his lost soulmate. This has me shook and now Iâm sad
but there could be something Iâm over looking. If you have an answer, feel free to comment (nicely)
UPDATE: oof jk. Thx comments section for reminding me that this isnât a new Zelda. Sheâs pretty much the Link Between Wolrds one. Gonna leave this up to play with some peopleâs hearts tho đ
Things they don't tell you about being a first time wheelchair user in highschool
Literally everyone will ask if you broke your leg(s). Everyone. Even people you donât know. Theyll ask a lot and think youâre extremely fragile.
bruises show up within the first day of rolling around, and they can really suck
people will try to grab your chair if they think youâre struggling and it can be hard not to snap at them for it
static electricity is a huge issue. You will probably either continuously shock your leg when youâre rolling around or do what I did today and zap someone so hard as you pass that both of you nearly keel over
people will call you out as a faker if you do anything even remotely fun ever on your wheelchair. Wheelies? Obviously your legs are fine lol not like you have to go down fucking curbs /s
puddles are the worst and if thereâs a curb with a puddle all around and you have some ability to walk its a better idea to just stand up and navigate the chair than to fall backwards into said puddle
weird looks from people are inevitable, especially from people who donât like you
bus drivers will often push your chair and give you advise you donât want to hear, even if you tell them nicely you can push yourself. Its really hard not to get mad at them for it
no wheelies in school. Though if you do it in the elevator when no one else is with you you canât really get caught.
speaking of wheelies, always be ready to throw at least one arm behind you in case you fall. They say tuck your chin in but its easier and more reliable to throw your hands back and keep your neck up so you donât hit the floor. Sore arms are way easier to put up with than head injuries
donât even bother to try and roll back up curbs. You will either be there for an hour or fall backwards. I managed to do both.
90% of classrooms that arenât special ed are not very wheelchair accessible.
people will automatically assume youâre faking something if youâre not considered dumb enough in their standards to fit in with disabled students (aka high class ableism at its finest)
people are going to give you weird looks if you donât suddenly start sitting with the other disabled kids
standard backpacks usually dangle way too much to keep on you easily, so try to pack light
built in storage on wheelchairs cannot sufficiently carry books
donât try to hold an umbrella. Period. Especially not with your teeth. It doesnât work.
donât try to give the bus driver your ticket while youâre stuck on the ramp. And speaking of, its easy to start falling down the bus ramp so be careful, and when in doubt throw on the breaks
and finally if youâre like me pray to god you donât go nonverbal when someone is trying to push you and you donât want them to because it is hard to get them to stop if you canât speak
able-bodied people can and should 1000% reblog this, some of these things Iâve seen on tips about using a wheelchair but a lot of these werenât things Iâve seen
I have a question for you guys.
When reading a book, do you prefer detailed descriptions of characters or brief, vague descriptions? Reblog and put in the tags which you prefer, and whether youâre a reader, artist, writer, or whatever else.
Thanks!
Thank you all so much for your responses! Theyâve really helped me as a writer, and I hope they helped you too!
Vague. Too much description and I zone out and go from thinking about the character, to how much I want another cookie.
Prompt Idea
An animal hybrid decides she wants to explore the human world. Sheâs done disguises for a while now, and today, she didnât want to get laughed at for wearing such big hats and hoodies in summer. She goes out as she is and is surprised to find people compliment her. She hears people say that they like her costume and her bold fashion moves. Could it really be that simple?
any tips on writing a main character that speaks a different language than the rest of the cast?
If I have any bilingual (or multilingual) followers please feel free to add on to this with your own experiences!
My best advice without being able to fluently speak more than one language is to try to remember that if your character is bilingual (etc.) that there will be moments where they may not know a word (this occurs even when trying to remember something in their native language too if they are often speaking the second/third/etc. language). That there will be moments where idioms and other phrases used in the language everyone else is speaking that they may not understand.
If they donât speak the same language at ALL then I definitely suggest looking up travel blogs for people with those same life experiencesâwhether itâs people packing up and moving to another country for a job or for family reasons or whatever reallyâand how they cope with the day-to-day. Just do some digging! This is where researching and taking from real life can really help with your character development for the tiny little quirks or challenges that may be entirely overlooked normally.
Dialogue Prompts.... cuz I can :)

âWhen were you going to tell me you could speak Japanese?â
âWell- also Spanish, Mandarin, French, German, and Iâve started ASL (American Sign Language), but thatâs not important now!â
-
âSo, that sword just- appeared?â
âWell duh! I didnât walk into the black market with a trench coat on sliding a stranger a $20!â
-
âYouâre telling me youâre not robbing a bank, but your name is Rob A. Banks?â
-
âSo, a literal prophet told you that all of your reincarnations in time have always been a couple.... and youâre telling me- sheâs not your type...?â
-
âI donât really understand how NOBODY has noticed scales growing on the side of my face by now.â
-
âWho knew you could draw that well?â
âUh- stinking me and the countless years of practice Iâve done!â

Things to do as a famous writer;
Make a âfan blogâ of ur book of Tumblr and stalk ur fandom from within.
Go to a book store, find ur books, sign a copy, then leave.
Write purposefully bad fan fiction of ur book and post it anonymously.
Buy a copy of ur own book and write commentary in the margins, then sell it online.
Cosplay ur own character to a con, donât let anyone know itâs you.
Using your âfan blogâ befriend another fan online. Ask them to video chat you, record their reaction.
Draw purposefully bad fan art and post it anonymously.
Read ALL of the fan fiction of ur book, then declare random ones you like as cannon in the comments.
Talk to aspiring writers online or at schools and encourage them.
Become a beta reader for one of ur fans.
Hold long in depth conversations with a fan who doesnât recognize you, disagree with everything they say.
Ask to talk a picture with people who recognize you on the street before they have a chance to ask you first.
Anonymously commission artists to draw ur characters, then surprise them by posting it to ur âofficial blog.â Make sure you credit them so you draw more attention to their amazing artwork!!!
Tease ur fans about the next book coming out.
Tell ur fans a character is gonna die in the next book, but not say who. Watch them squirm.

YES to all of this
This is awesome
this is honestly one of my goals. i planned on becoming annonymosly friends with fanblogs, too. if i ever have the chance to become a known writer. i can still dream, can´t i?
THIS^^^
Is a good idea °v°
The inspiration. Oh my gosh!
I THINK I CAN FINALLY DO IT! Explain why artists donât want you to look through their sketch books. Ok, so I was writing the front page of a journal I was making, and it just came to me. Even though thereâs no inappropriate stuff in their, and Iâll probably put it on the internet anyways, I didnât give you the permission yet. And you just ran away with the original copy and who knows if youâll deface it, rip it, smear it, reject it in my face. You just took my baby out of my grasp and I canât bring it back. I know for me, Iâm cool if you use my stuff, just donât take it like itâs your birthright. Ask me first, and respect my answer. Ok, I hope that made sense cuz itâs kinda late as I type, but here it is.
Just a reminder in case your mind is playing tricks on you today:
You matter. Youâre important. Youâre loved. And your presence on this earth makes a difference whether you see it or not.
Legend of Zelda Fan Fiction Chapter 1
A/N Heyyy so I havenât posted in forever, but I got inspired to write this and some other stuff. I still canât believe how I didnât like this series until this summer. I had it pretty soon after release, but I was like, âEwww this game is too hard.â -me doing a shrine before realizing how helpful UTube is. Anyways, hope you like it!
I DO NO OWN THIS FRANCHISE. NINTENDO DOES!
Link had just finished his journey with princess Zelda to the Rito village. Since the princess could sense the calamityâs arrival, and out of fear from her lack of Sealing Power, she was making extra rounds on all of her champions. Link found it somewhat annoying, but he simply loved the outdoors. Fighting bokoblins and moblins, well, that was kind of his hobby.
If you ever asked him to tell you why he loved it, he couldnât say. It just was. The best answer though, would have to be how he felt a sense of accomplishment and a dash of pride whenever he made Zelda feel safe, even if she never thanked him.
Zelda made the decision to stop at Vah Medoh first; Link had expected it after hearing all her âtalking to herselfâ on horseback about being fearful of Revaliâs ego, and how it might affect the war. Link was pretty easy going himself, especially compared to the princessâ fiery nature, but even he could hardly stay quiet to the over-grown birdâs jeers. Â
Even though they had paid for inns, Link still never slept much. That and between his lack of appetite and a cough every so often, he was starting to be fearful about how much he truly worried about the calamityâs coming. Then again, he hadnât been to this part of Hyrule and this time of year, maybe it was allergies? But did allergies make you not eat and sleep?
If that were the case, he felt sort of mad. The outdoors had always been his favorite thing, his friend. Now, as his body changed through his teen-aged years, it decided to attack him and hurt his sinus and throat.
One thing that seemed to happen kind of naturally was not talking. He used to talk all the time as a child, but once he had to fit the mold the triforce wanted of him, he never really found a need to speak. Even if he wanted to, his voice would be unready of the sudden wishes and would hardly make a sound. It wasnât much of a conscious effort, but what just felt natural.
âOh! Princess!â Exclaimed the perched Ritos on watch duty. They waved and both Hylians mirrored. Link went up the stairs a little bit more sluggishly today than he remembered the last trip, but nothing compared to how red and out of breath Zelda was. Link almost laughed, before remembering one mistake like that would set off her mood.
âWhy Princess Zelda. A true honor to have you in our village.â Revali said after he shot up in the air, only to pause with a majestic pose of his wings spread wide, to gracefully land on his feet.
âGood to see you too,â she smiled. Link could tell she was trying to force that smile, in hopes of tricking herself into enjoying his presence.
âOh, and hello, Link.â Revali said with distaste. An awkward tension clung to the conversation.
âAnyways,â Zelda continued. âMay I have a look at Vah Medoh? I sense Calamity Ganonâs rising. As you know, other triforce wielders are already ready.â She glanced towards Link, âso Iâd like to make sure that Hyrule is, too.â
âSure thing! Iâll take you up for a quick pop in. I can only take one up though.â He said with fake disappointment.
Zelda nodded, and Revali took her up in the sky. Now that Link had time to think, the weight of what his feet were screaming at him made him sit. Half-way through the journey, Zelda had been bucked off her horse and it ran away. Once she was able to stand, her steed was out of ear shot. He had offered her a seat with him on his horse, but she refused. It began to feel uncomfortable for him being so much taller than her after a while, so he eventually boarded his horse at the next stable.
But what he didnât know was why his feet ached so much? He had run double the length before, and it felt to be the same level of exhaustion as that event. It didnât help that he apparently didnât grab his warm clothes and was freezing on the high hills the Rito lived. On top of that, he never carried as much money as it cost to buy a new set of clothes, and he didnât want to ask the princess for a favor like that. So, he sat with his back to a wall, freezing in the mountains.
Link had drifted off to sleep and was abruptly awakened by an angry Zelda, âWhy donât you have your Rito clothes equipped?! From the looks of you, youâve lost half your life force!â He noticed his nose was running, his legs had goosebumps, and his chin was shivering. He tried to get up, but fell back down. Spots annoyingly covered his vision. He tried again and took a deep breath, but that only lead to that cough he had earlier coming back. Zelda reached for his hands and dragged him up. âYou stupid knight!â She scolded. About that time, he noticed Revali standing further back, giving him a judging stare.
âPrincess,â Revali bowed, âyouâve looked at my divine beast, it looks like you can leave with your frail protector now.â
âIt would do some good to get him out of the cold. WaitâŚâ She dug in her pouch to retrieve a type of meat that smelled as if it had cold resistant properties. Link had made meals and potions enough to have a well understanding of those types of scents. âEat it. It should help until we can get down the stairs.â
âFarewell! And safe travels to your next stop! May Ganonâs reign never see the light of day.â Hey gave a mini salute, and took to the sky.
After they had left the village, Zelda slapped Link. âWhat the heck was that for?â
âYour clothes!â
âI guess I forgot to pack them.  Iâll be fine.â
âBut what about other cold areas we might have to go through, hm?â She sighed, âlet me buy you some clothes on the way out.â
âIâm fine, really. I think I have some po-â
âSave it!â She marched up to the cashier at the clothing store and asked for the set. When she leaned over to ask him what size he was, she realized he had kept walking. This made her have to leave and catch up to him, and by then, they were too far away.
âIâd feel bad if I made you use your money on my horrible memory.â Zelda couldnât tell if it was from the cold environment, but it seemed his cheeks got a shade pinker when he said that.
She seemed touched by this, but still mad they he wouldnât let her help him. âI guess itâs off to see Urbosa.â
A/N Annnnnnd that was chapter one. I donât feel like Iâm that good at starting stories off, but who knows. That could just be me. Donât forget to like and comment and the next chapter should come out really soon. Byeee
Writing Prompts dialoge and writing/scene and character
Youâre sitting your favorite fast food place, and a worker you recognize randomly hands you what you think is a receipt.  You are confused because you were almost done eating.  He didnât make eye contact.  He just kept walking.  You look at it and it reads,  We know who you are, and you have taunted us far too many times, Soul Slayer.
You look out the window and subconsciously start to sing. Â You zone out, but then you realize you could have sworn you heard a 6 second delay echo. Â You are alone in your house as far as you are aware.
Two best friends from birth find out they have powers at the same age. Â They donât tell one another in hopes to protect them. Â Little do they know that they are enemies on the battle field. Â They both have a lot of explaining to do when one gets a serious injury thatâs hard to ignore. Â Or why theyâre both gone at random times.
A character was born very bland, but hates every look. Â To feel happier, she dyes her head blue. Â Wears colored contacts. Â Paints her nails. Â Uses the wrong color foundation intentionally. Â And uses the brightest colors sold for eyeshadow and lipstick matte. Â Sheâs ok with bland clothes though, and sheâs extremely fond of white shirts and pants.
âI have fought literal gods.  You think you scare me?â âYeah, âcause you may have fought them, but did you win?â
âYou know murdering can be done simpler then always grabbing the kitchen knife, right?â
âBut Mom, that takes out all the fun!â
You know you are in a mystery/murder book, and you know who the murderer is. Â The catch, you canât tell anyone directly. Â So you resort to use extremely obvious clues. Â BUT STINKINâ EVERYONE THINKS THEYâRE SHERLOCK HOLMES AND IS ALL LIKE IT COULDNâT POSSIBLY BE THE FIRST AND MOST OBVIOUS PERSON!
                             BONUS
These are some scenes that might be fun to write (at least in my opinion)
a couple getting protective over each other
a person who is deaf, blind, or anything along those lines trying to convince everyone that they donât have that condition (IE blind person pretends to be able to see to fit in with the popular kids)Â
UPDATE
So my schedule is going to be every Tuesday and Saturday. Â Iâm going to try and use the queue option to my advantage and hopefully I can stay consistent with that. Â Let me know if you have any other ideas improve this account or anything. Â Also, once I get enough followers, I might have something where I answer a question every Friday? Â I donât know. Â For now, Iâm just going to play it by ear :) (I canât do emojis on my computer :( ) Â (This doesnât feel OK:( )
Also, I think Iâm going to try some prompts and if you use them, message me them please. Â Only if you feel comfortable though.
World Building Questions You Should Ask Yourself pt1
Hereâs a couple of things you should think about when you are creating a world for your characters to live in
What type of wild life lives there? - Are humans the only ones? Are there monsters? If so, are any friendly and/or kept as pets? Are there any neighbors and if so, do they get along? If you have monsters, you probably will want to write the names, characteristics, and danger level on a piece of reference paper.
What type of civilizations live there? - Are they really into nature, or innovation? Are they tribes? Kingdoms? Countries? District? City? Think about which one you assign to a place because it can give the whole place a different feel. What are the things they value? Do they reward you for honesty, or hang you by your fingertips off a cliff for showing lip?Â
What are the rules for kids? - Like in our world, a minor canât go to jail, but there are alternatives.  What are the alternatives with your place, or are there none? Do they have to do whatever their parents say with extreme consequences for not obeying, or do they just smile, and wave there hand saying stuff like, oh thatâs just kids being kids. ?
How âbout that weather? - The weather can effect the clothing choice, regular hair dews, and how important water is. It can also decide what type of house they live in.
What are the rules/no-nos? - Like how we canât vandalize a wall (You can, but not really lawfully) or rob a bank. You canât really do that without having to run from the law. What are those equivilents in your world?
Thatâs all I got for now. Â Remember, keep writing :)Â Â
DAILEY REMINDER TO WRITE TODAY :)
How to develop your OC
So, youâre having trouble creating an OC. Let me rephrase that, youâre having trouble developing the backstory for your OC. I know in the art community you draw a good drawing and declare it an OC, but never redraw it again. Donât do anything else with them. Then determine their characteristics, their zodiac sign/b-day, name, and age. Here are some things that will help you discover your characters potential.Â
GIVE THEM A STEREOTYPE - When youâre trying to start, you may want to uncover one piece at a time with them, slowly crafting them out, but there is a simpler way. Â For example, Iâm going to use my main character/OC Alicia. I started out deciding to give her the âSport-yâ stereo type, and it developed into much more. What would she do if she broke her arm? Would she cry like a baby, or would she suck it up? What would she do if someone made fun of her red hair and pale skin? Would she ignore them? Or would she roast them into a million pieces? Is she the loud one in the back of the classroom? Or does she stay quiet and take notes? The more you decide which your character would do under that stereo type, the more youâre fleshing, and shaping them out.
DONâT BE AFRAID TO WRITE CRNGEY DIALOGUE WITH THEM AND ANOTHER CHARACTER - This one is kind of a bonus for if youâre creating two+ characters at once. Just have them talk to each other. Let them introduce themselves. Heck, you donât even have to have it make that much sense, but youâre putting it down on paper, and thatâs what matters. Characters arenât created because you thought about them, they were created because you decided to go forward and do the cringe things. I went through my book for months just redoing the cringe beginnings. I just recently finished that phase and itâs so rewarding. I pretty much have it to where all the characters are acting properly and all the foreshadowing match up. Itâs still not perfect, but I could have never gotten this familiar with this world if I never started this process.
EMILY, IâM NOT ABLE TO EVEN DRAW A LINE, AND I CANâT PICTURE HOW MY CHARACTER LOOKS. WHAT DO I DO? - First of all, a lot of people think they canât draw, but I think a big factor is that they take the simple way out and draw a stick figure. Hoping that everyone else will laugh with them. Maybe try drawing in your home/by yourself or have someone show you how to draw certain features. You can also commission an artist online, but be prepared to pay for the art because ART IS NOT FREE! If all else fails, you can go to an avatar creator online and just put in the correct features for them. That works really well.
MAYBE YOU JUST DONâT NEED THAT CHARACTER - If youâre still finding it awkward to fit that character in your writing, maybe you just donât need them. Sometimes a character does not help, or advance your plot. If you like them, save them for something better, but donât force this. If youâre having this problem with your main character, maybe your personality and theres doesnât mesh. You might simply not like that type of person IRL and so you donât want to be on this journey for most likely 200+ pages with them. Just find the character that works with you. <3
Good luck and remember to keep writing :)
