I've read that on depo the first ovulation might still happen, so extra precautions are necessary- but my doctor did not tell me that. Only to wait 7 days. 7 days is a lot less than 21 days. I did get the shot Jan 29, so the risk of the first 3 weeks is over, I'm just mad that's apparently a thing and I wasn't given a heads up.

The depo provera birth control shot really makes me feel pregnant. Also I haven't stopped bleeding for 18 days so far. I hate the BC shot.
