here's where to find it on windows 10
Ugh, it was in mine. It's off now.
IT GETS WORSE
I had to turn this off, but it's something that allows Windows and anyone using your device to generate text/images.
LOBOTOMIZE YOUR MACHINES
AI is a freacking plague, I share this for any windows user.
The fact that it goes into to photos is crazy, i have a ton of unposted saved art in there. AI is a big company issued virus and you can't convince me otherwise
From the Nashville Zoo’s fb page! Here’s the petition, please please please take a moment to add your name (even if you’re not from Nashville!). If you are from Tennessee, contact your representatives and make it clear that the people do not want this data center. This is an AZA accredited zoo which is home to several species of critically endangered animals, we NEED to protect it. Make your voice heard!
Because people will pay attention to cute animals, here are some of the critically endangered/endangered species housed at the Nashville Zoo!
The Amur Leopard and Clouded Leopard (which recently celebrated its 50th cub born at the zoo!)
The Sumatran Tiger
The Red Ruffed Lemur and Ring-Tailed Lemur
The Cotton-Top Tamarin and White-Cheeked Gibbon
The Colobus Monkey and De Brazza’s Monkey
And the Mexican Spider Monkey!
Look at them!!!! Look at them and fight like hell to save them!!!!
Small study!
hello there! I haven't really been able to do proper art as for well, having midterms the last two weeks. But instead, I had tried getting familiar with Louis and Monsieur faces! :D
but I promise to do something more proper soon 👀
Starting off pride month with some wholesome melancholic monchevy again because the end of chev's bio BROKE MY HEART with that paragraph which I'm gonna put here:
Unique example of someone being integrated to the royal family through a homosexual relationship, he was brought to the forefront overnight. He was there to stay, protected by his princely status, by his family's clan and by a solid network. One other thing explains his exceptional longevity: Monsieur loved him boundlessly until the very end.
(Le Chevalier de Lorraine by Joan Pieragnoli, p375-376)
and then I died

Amazingly similar pattern between how Daniel de Cosnac, Monsieur's almoner, and Liselotte, interacted with him and talked about it. I'm paraphrasing, of course :P
and no shade to them (okay just a little) but at some point you gotta get a clue yo
FR below the cut!
This is literally my favourite contemporary portrait of him, he was so funky looking
OH MY GOD?

Some day I am going to properly articulate why period dramas have ruined people's ability to interact with historical portraits.
Short version: most historical figures look like pretty average people, because they are for the most part just some guy (gender neutral). They just don't stand up well to casting a whole show of people who are pretty by modern standards.
This is mostly in response to a rather persistent trend of "can you believe this person was considered handsome/beautiful at the time?"
When:
1. The person is not styled in a way that appeals to modern taste.
2. The style of portraiture diverges from photography, so it doesn't appeal to your sense of aesthetics.
3. You're comparing to an actor/actress who is very good looking by modern standards styled in a way that isn't really meant to challenge you.
4. They are average to good looking, but in a normal person way.
Our own media environment doesn't really leave much space for "good looking normal person" which is part of the issue.
Case in point :
The historical portrait is much more attractive. Sorry I'm weird I guess but I'll take the real Louis over some dumb looking guy with no interesting features. Look at Louis' nose. Louis had a really great nose. His side profile is 9/10. I didn't give him 10/10 because Carlos is my 10/10. Look at his great mane with the little curls on his forehead. Look at his dumb little mustache(affectionate). Look at his cute chin dimple (Monsieur's is even cuter). Louis looks 100% better than some random Hollywood actor fr.
ALSO if someone ever makes a movie or series about Carlos II of Spain and he is cast as someone conventionally hot I WILL go to Hollywood myself and cause the biggest fit. If you can't find someone with strong features to play him at least do some prosthetics for his nose and chin for the love of -- I'd rather have no movie or series about Carlos than to have conventionally hot Carlos I will scream and rant and rave.

Is that a real drawing or is that ai? I don't mind conventionally attractive characters but I think real Louis looks better anyways if he is AI I'm gonna make him my oc like I did with tadzio from death in venice I just gotta know first (the conventionally attractive guy) like one conventionally attractive character who people often use ai for is dorian havilliard from throne of glass and I love him and kin him he's a book character
I'm so sorry if it's a real artist 😭
@imonlyherebecauseofthisbandilike
If he's AI then he's my oc now he's too cutie patootie
@theprophecyofroddymcdirrin
I can't say for sure. He is from a mobile game called Vying for Versailles, produced by Romance Club, who makes different romance visual novels. Romance Club has been accused of using AI and they most definitely have used it at times, but they also have actual art mixed in, especially in their older works.
The type of overly polished art style shown here is pretty consistent with most other RC stories, so it's hard to tell. I know VfV was made between 2022 to 2024 and I don't know how prevalent their use of AI was then. Some fans said that some of the stuff they made looked AI generated, however I think it's unlikely that they were already making all their characters with AI by that point, especially the main love interest, so if I had to guess I would say the Louis XIV shown here is NOT AI, but I cannot promise you it's not.
“oooh i need junji ito to write me an essay” okay so youre a little baby so youre a little baby waby who needs mommys help
not junji ito. where did he come from. this is supposed to say chatgpt
pretty sure he came from japan?
my dear historical-figure-in-law (historical figure my mutual loves who i know next to nothing about otherwise)
Why would you ever use AI roleplay bots to talk to your favorite historical figure. You can just buy a Ouija board.

Girls
saw this and immediately thought of you!!
YEAAAAH I know this one!!! But I forgot about it, so thank you of reminding me of it! How did you come across this?
I really like the print! How it is drawn and blended into each other (did they need each other to get their influence? Wind to blow against your sails?). The text is also cool (and fitting for the fic! When I saw the words "the noble", I got a bit of an error and thought of the noble).
It is interesting that 'schelms', alongside rouge, also means a bit witty/funny. I think you can compare it to 'mischievous' or 'naughty'. Besides, the only Dutch exonym I know of 'Louis' is 'Lodewijk'. I do not know 'Louijsen'! I will look into this, mmm.....
Sorry for the late reply! I did not check my phone much, as I was on vacation. I was hoping to reply with a picture of a print located in the town I visited, but it was closed off for the week :")
but thank you so much! I was really happy to see your message <3.
Weird how this version doesn't seem to have a mustache but this other one does.
