▍ Boom.
Boom.
❝ Timothy! ❞ ▍
The beast roared as the drunken continued to pouted against the door, with a force that rattled it on it's frame. The blond was crumpled in the farthest corner from the door, knees pressed against his chest as his frame trembles like a leaf in the wind moments before it falls. His chest constricts as breathing becomes increasingly difficult. He swallows, greedily sucking as much oxygen as he can in big gulps that clog his throat. He was too terrified to mutter a prayer. He just reminds in that corner beneath the window, trembling as he tries to keep from receding back into himself. He had to be strong to pull himself together and get up but his limbs weighed tons. He was cemented to the stop as he reminds there in his crumpling fear.
▍ ❝ Timothy! Open up for Daddy. ❞ ▍
How the beast shifted from carefully coaxing to rage in a split second. He knew it was a facade, a ploy to get out from the room and back between his teeth. The beast wanted one thing, to rip him apart and put the pieces back together in his likeness. Timothy was his little doll, who he was always fixing up to make him prefect. He could feel the echo of those touches on his frame, how large hands were always pressing his frame making him smaller but he never was small enough for his liking.
▍ ❝I swear I'll put you somewhere worse than the goddamn basement if you don't open this fucking—❞ ▍
Timothy covered his ears, rocking back and forward. He needed to drown out the voice; he had to force on his plan. It seemed like hours but he managed stand. He operated on autopilot, turning on his music blaring it to cover the shouts from the other side of the door and to disguise his shuffling as he grabbed his packed bag. He could heard the distant sounds of profanity and heated threats as he opened the window, jumping.
He fell. hard. Pain shoot up his side but the adrenaline dulled it enough for him to take up in a sprint. His legs pumping beneath him as he ran with no true directive. He just needed distance between himself and that man, that monster. He continued to run until he couldn't run anymore and kept running. Paranoia was his fuel as sprinted, every shadow, every sound him.
Timothy finally came to a stop. He heaved as his lung burned from overexertion. His pants were all he heard in the darkest of night as he slumped against the wall of an apartment building. Legs gave way as he crumpled against it, head lulling to the side as fatigue caught up with him.
▍ All of that didn't matter. He was safe. ▍
