some stuff i noticed in yesterday’s direct that i didn’t see at e3!

we finally see the dock/station. dodo airlines sounds like a new character may appear; i wonder where this puts kapp’n and porter? im sure this is where you leave for another island as well.

we apparently have some sort of stamina system, finally putting the eating function to use.

backpacks and cross body bags! im curious about this last one, because the bag says “fish”. are there bags with specific functions? also: the long hair; is it a wig, or are we getting actual longer styles now?

on the far right we have a button up collared shirt that seem to be modeled instead of just having a collar texture! and look at the detail on the soles of the shoes, they even have different patterns. i love the character to the far left, his shirt says ‘forest’! also as we saw before at e3, different dress/skirt styles can be seen throughout.

lots of speculation from e3 that the pole would only be able to be used in specific parts of the river, but this looks like you can use it anywhere. im sure bridges will still be a craftable/unlockable so that animal villagers can cross, though.
