For those that still haven't seen it. It's kind of unprofessional, but this is my dance exam with @ugly_ezzaj and I'm proud to have worked with this dude. He taught me quite a bit, and I taught him a little bit and this is the final product. I'm the one on the right, and I could've used a little more practice, but still we did pretty great. Talent show is today. Probably shouldn't have stayed up nearly all night, but I got some good practice in. STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING, unless you have a thing against strong language, then please keep scrolling I don't want to offend anybody for any reason, I'm really a nice person and I don't want to come off as anything other than one I am. Quick backstory. I've lived in the hood my entire life, but I never really got into gangs and stuff like that because I was always afraid of getting into trouble. I have no professional training in how to cook and I rarely finish a YouTube tutorial on how to do it. However, any of my real friends will tell you that I'm confident in making French toast, although most haven't had it yet, emphasis on yet. Now, to the picture. I made some blueberry pancakes, right? Then I made cinnamon French toast out of them. THEN I made blueberry sauce to put on top using my own recipe and IT TASTES LIKE HEAVEN OH MY FUCKING GOODNESS! It was warm, sweet, had a little bit of spice due to the cinnamon, and the cool whip added a contrast similar to ice cream on warm pie. It tastes like how sitting on a porch swing on a nice spring day after the rain has stopped falling and there's a rainbow and everything just feels nice. It tastes like home. Like, I'm going to remember this and pass it along down my bloodline. "What is true happiness?" This is a question I ask myself often, because sometimes I feel like I might be happy, but with my overthinking then re-overthinking I'm never 100% sure if it's actual happiness. I didn't even take a picture of the whole work, because I know I'll be disappointed in it no matter how I post it, but I'll be more disappointed in myself if I don't at least post a little bit of it. Not a painter, at all, but I tried my hand at some acrylic because it was lying around, not being used, and so I made this. No filters, because I wanted it to just be raw art, regardless of camera quality. I'd say I did a pretty good job, although it's obvious I don't know how to really work a paint brush with precision. Then again, the little imperfections are what make something powerful and I hope this touches people who are in a tight spot mentally.
