God damn Bolero, this brew is tasty as fuck! I’ve already had the pleasure of tasting OVB (Orange Vanilla Bullsicle) and that was delicious but this one just one upped that already amazing brew. Bolero Snort has been on a pretty steep incline as far as quality goes and I hope the upward momentum doesn’t slow down any time soon because I am really digging all these new beers by them. This is their latest creation and at first I though the SVB might have stood for Shakira’s Voluptuous Butt or Spielberg’s Vagina Breath but instead I am much happier that Strawberry Vanilla Bullsicle was the final result. Also side note: While Google-ing celebrity names that started with an S, pictures of Debby Ryan popped up for some reason and I got distracted for good reasons but now I’m back so let’s get down to it. A super sweet and authentic strawberry flavor starts things off with some floral and mildly citrusy hops mixing in quickly after bringing some bitterness to balance things out before ending with a creamy whipped cream (as opposed to uncreamy whipped cream) flavor from the vanilla to close things out. Honestly, I want to head to the beer store today and pick up a full fucking case of this because it’s that damn good and I feel like with everything going on here it could have easily been messed up but Bolero being the champs that they are nailed this. With Valentine’s day being a day away and all these couples getting their strawberries and CoolWhip together to feed to one another during a romantic get away, I’m sticking to drinking mine because your shit is weak but this beer is anything but. For the lovers and pros out there, make sure you pick this one up and don’t wait for the warmer weather and the ice cream man to get your hands on an SVB because you definitely should not sleep on this one. As for you rookies out there, this is your dream come true because it is an incredible take on the most popular style of beer currently so make sure you grab a can, thank me, and send me a Valentine. Or don’t.

Gelato Cake (Medium Spoons 5/10)
So I really love Captain America. And I really wanted to draw. But I didn’t sign up for icing that didn’t want to do the same. Do me a favour and don’t use cookie icing for this. The colours bled and were difficult to write with. Other than that, all I need to say is that this is better than a store bought ice cream cake. It’s done in steps but it’s worth it.
Dad would’ve been 68 and I’m 27 now. Ugh.
