Shout out to the one dentist who asked me about acid reflux instead of just shaming me for ‘not taking care of’ my teeth. Especially considering I now know I literally have a chronic illness that causes chronic acid reflux and nausea symptoms

“Empathy is what makes us human” literally just say that you are ableist. Like I think actions matter way more than having the feelings your ‘supposed’ to have when you take those actions. Like if im jealous that someone got something cool im still gonna like message them saying that im happy for them instead of making them feel bad for having joy. If someone who has lower levels of empathy than the general population does nice or caring things thats a good thing actually! I literally do not care if they actually feel the empathy. It does not make them any less human or any less of a person
