Hi all! So this is my announcement that is super late by now but I am on a hiatus (kind of). I started working write before the holidays and my job basically zaps all my energy, my days off are Wednesday and Thursday and I use those day to decompress and clean my room. I do want to write so bad but I truly have no energy when I get home to do anything. I hope one day I can come back to this blog and take it off hiatus but until then, I hope you all enjoy what I have written so far!

The members were gathered around, and you were wedged between Younghoon and Haknyeon while you were all watching a movie. Pizza leftovers and other delivery food containers scattered on the coffee table.
Eric and Kevin had lost the game to clean up but we let them finish the movie before cleaning up.
You were a member of their family, adopted by them as an honorary member. You had ended up at their dorms on drunken nights, or even after a harsh break up with tears and snot running down your face.
They were 11 of your friends and brothers. Words could hardly explain how you even came to be where you are, in a foreign city, with a new language and a new culture to learn.
You had met Jacob first, then he introduced you to his friends Kevin and Eric. Then once you were comfortable with them they threw you to the wolves and introduced you to the rest of the members.
Sangyeon and Jacob were the two to treat you like brothers would, and the rest were like younger siblings. They would tease you to the point of you getting angry and then apologize before you could release your wrath.
The bond you all had was that of a found family, and you wouldn’t trade it for your wildest dreams; okay maybe if you could pay off your student debt but only that.
A/N: it's the last day, happy holidays. Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa (although a day early). I hope you had a lovely holiday, or just a nice day if you don't celebrate anything.
Holy cow! I reached 40 followers!! Thank you to everyone who’s followed me and read my work. Sorry I’m not a consistent poster, but I write when inspiration strikes and sometimes it can be months. I recently started working, so I have even less time than normal so unfortunately requests will still be closed but perhaps once I reach 50 followers I’ll open them again. Once again thank you all so much!
Eric wasn’t the best at keeping secrets, so how he managed to keep his feelings for you a secret was astonishing.
You had been friends with each other for a little while; sure you found him handsome and endearing, but you kept your romantic feelings locked up tight.
When he confessed to you, you were in shock. His face was beat red and you weren’t sure if it was the alcohol or because he was sober enough to realize what he had said to you.
You knew he might not remember making the confession, so you didn’t say anything and quickly left him standing there.
Of course you want to accept his feelings and make your own known to him, but you weren’t sure if he was being serious or if he was just saying something to break the silence that had settled between the two of you.
The following day you got messages and then calls from Eric, until they stopped after an hour. Unbeknownst to Eric you were sleeping and your phone was left on the counter in your kitchen.
You were woken up by knocking at your apartment's front door. Pulling on a hoodie to cover your over your sleep shirt, you made your way to the door.
Opening it to see Eric looking close to tears and in a flustered state.
“I thought you were dead,” he said, moving into your apartment.
You closed the door, and followed Eric to the living area.
“Sorry, I was sleeping,” you said, feeling bad for causing Eric to panic.
A silence settled between you two, a thing that seemed to happen but never made either of you uncomfortable.
“You never answered me last night,” Eric muttered, his hands clasped together in his lap.
You looked at him, not sure what to say, you stayed silent. Trying to form your thoughts into a sentence.
“It’s okay if you don’t like me back,” he said, the words hurrying from his mouth.
Shaking your head you held up your hand to stop him, “I’m just surprised is all, I mean you’re terrible at keeping secrets after all,” you laughed.
Eric rolled his eyes, “I wasn’t sure if what I was feeling was real or not that's why.”
You snorted, “well it’s a good thing I feel the same way, or this would be a very awkward conversation.”
Eric let a smile break out across his face at your words. Sometimes secrets aren’t good to keep hidden.
A/N: day 12 was written before this one. please forgive me for this one, it's terrible I'm sorry.
You were sitting on the couch reading, the tv had a fake fireplace playing to set the mood. Your partner was laying across the couch, his head was laying in your lap. Your hand absentmindedly brushing through his hair, and your other hand holding the book.
“Can’t we do something else, I’m bored” the man laying in your lap pouted.
You finished the paragraph before looking down at your partner, Sunwoo.
“Why don’t you read with me, or you can watch something on TV,” you suggested, wanting to finish the last book in the series.
He sighed, sitting up and turning to look at you. His lips sat in a pout and his hair was messy from your mindless messing with it.
“Books are boring,” he complained, truly he just wanted your attention.
“Sunwoo, let me finish this book and we can do something,” you said, hoping to ease his foul mood.
He sighed again, laying his head back into your lap, “read to me then.”
You let a smile dance across your face, “you won’t know what’s going on though,” you said.
“It’s fine, just read it anyway,” he said, turning his face up to look at you.
Looking down at him you nodded, but before you could start reading he leaned up pressing a kiss to your lips.
His face was pulled into a mischievous smile before he got up and left you there.
Books were your distraction, but now you have a distraction to your distraction.
Your toes were cold, the winter weather was making your extremities cold. Goosebumps rising on your arms and legs that were already covered in long sleeves and pants.
“But socks on if you’re so cold,” your partner scolded, laughing as you wrapped yourself around his warm body.
You shook your head, burrowing your face further into his shoulder, “I don’t like wearing socks,” you argued back.
He, Haknyeon, sighed before pulling your body away from him and pulling you to your bedroom. He sat you on the bed, went to your closet, and grabbed something.
Coming back to you he kneeled down and pulled your feet towards him and slipped on fuzzy socks. You were upset because you hated wearing socks inside even if your feet were cold and half frozen off.
A/N: Excuse how short this one is, I am really nervous about starting my job and just overall anxious about everything.
Day 8 | Pairing: Changmin(Q)xReader | Genre: fluff | Warnings: use of the word Christmas and mentions of food | WC: 319
Holiday shopping wasn’t something you enjoyed, buying gifts for people was not your strong suit. All that changed though when the Christmas Market opened, vendors of all kinds set up booths to sell their handmade crafts.
You managed to buy at least one thing for your friends, and the only person left to buy for was Changmin; the person who was walking with you through the market.
Walking side-by-side, you wove your way through families, couples, and groups of friends. On the far end of one side of the market was an ice rink set up, and on the other was a place to take pictures with holiday characters.
“Let’s find something to eat,” you suggested, taking Changmin’s arm and tugging him towards the row of food booths.
After looking through a couple of the booths menus you decided on one; once you ordered and paid for the food you found some place to sit and eat.
“Did you buy all the gifts you wanted too,” you asked Changmin, whose cheeks were stuffed with food.
He finished chewing his food swallowing it before speaking, “I bought almost everything, I have two more people to buy for.”
You nodded, “I have some people to buy for too, why don’t we split up to buy them,” you suggested, standing up to throw away your trash.
Changmin agreed and you two separated. Going in the opposite direction of Changmin, you made your way to the booth you planned to buy his gift from. Making the purchase you decided to buy a couple things for yourself.
You sent a message to Changmin letting him know you were done, he answered and told you to wait by the center of the market where the giant Christmas tree was.
Changmin found you quickly and you both left. The Christmas market was something to possibly make a tradition, but maybe next year you won’t be single.
A/N: Day 8 nearly to day 12, thank you to everyone who's read these so far, even if you just read this one it means a lot.
Chanhee was someone who disliked the cold, the snow and cold made him sniffle and his body shiver. On the other hand, you loved the cooler weather; but for you he would brave the cold.
Somehow you managed to beg him to build a snowman with you. You went to the rooftop of the boyz dorms and began to attempt multiple times. The snow wasn’t working with you, and I was disappointed in the lack of snowman making.
“We can try again later, don’t be so upset over it,” Chanhee said, trying to comfort you.
Days passed and the weather warmed back up melting what snow had accumulated. Your disappointment just continued to mount, you wanted to build a snowman with Chanhee.
You heard your door open, and knew it was Chanhee. You stayed pouting looking out the window, the sky matched your mood but rain was falling instead of snow.
“I got you something, and I know you want to make one but this will have to do,” you heard him say, coming to sit on the sofa next to you.
You turned to look at him, and noticed his hair was changed to a platinum blond nearly white color.
Sitting next to him was a small snowman, a black top hat adorning his small head, sewn on black buttons, eyes and mouth, and a small pointed orange fabric for a nose, a red and white scarf around its neck.
You picked up the small figure, carefully looking it over in adoration.
“Thank you Chanhee, it’s adorable,” you said, truly thankful for the small gift.
“You can’t control the weather, you never know we might get snow that you can build a snowman out of, and I promise that when it does, we'll build one,” he said, and having known Chanhee for as long as you had you knew he meant it.
A/N: this one suck I'm sorry, but I am trying to finish these before I start my job.
If there was one thing you loved about the colder months, it was the fact you could drink hot chocolate topped off with whipped cream and no one would judge you.
You were happily walking down the pavement, hot chocolate in hand. Listening to music and admiring the holiday displays in the shop windows. Trying to put yourself into the holiday mood, and not completely succeeding.
Turning a corner you are startled by a car honking and in consequence making you run into somebody else.
Your hot chocolate ended up on their jacket, pants, and shoes; and the ground much to your dismay.
“I’m so sorry,” you apologized, promptly taking napkins out of your pocket to hand to the person.
They took them and attempted to dry their clothes, “it’s okay, I’m not hurt,” they said, making you finally look at their face.
It was a young man, close to your age, his blond hair sticking out from under his black beanie.
“Let me give you my number and I will pay for your cleaning bill if you want,” you attempted, trying to stay calm.
He kept patting at his clothes with the napkins, ”no it’s really fine, but what if I buy you a new drink,” he said, looking back at you.
You were in shock, this guy was being too nice after you spilled your drink all over him.
“I mean that sounds great, but I don’t even know you,” you said, not wanting to have a stranger buy you a drink.
“I’m Kevin,” he introduced, sticking his hand out to shake.
You shook his hand, “nice to meet you, why don’t we take a rain check on the drink,” you said, knowing your lunch break was almost over.
He nodded, taking your phone from you to put his number in.
Who knows, maybe you’ll end up having a date and hot chocolate next time.

Day 5 | Pairing: JuyeonxReader | Genre: fluff | Warnings: mentions of the word christmas a lot | WC: 534
Waking up was difficult, it was even more difficult when you were wrapped in your partner’s arms. The blanket laying over you both was keeping out the chilly winter air. You fought the urge to fall back asleep after turning over to look at your handsome partner, his face was squished into his pillow and his hair was stuck up from rolling around during the night.
It was Christmas day though; and although you wanted nothing more than to stay here warm and fighting sleep, you had to get up. You tried to carefully remove yourself from the bed and your boyfriend’s arm but you woke him up in the process.
“Good morning,” he said, his voice hoarse and raspy.
Smiling down at him, “Juyeon, merry Christmas,” you whisper, still hesitant to break the peaceful silence in your bedroom.
You watched as he sat up, his torso covered in the top that matched yours. You turned and opened the door, making your way to the kitchen to start on breakfast.
After making a simple breakfast, placing the food on plates and taking them to the living room.
Juyeon uttered a thanks and started to eat. Even though you had been together for a couple years now, and had settled into a comfortable routine you hadn’t spent the holidays together.
You both finished eating and cleaned up the dishes used before settling onto the couch.
“Should we open gifts now,” Juyeon asked, his hands fidgeting with the loose threads on his top.
You nodded, “I didn’t even think about that,” you lied, really excited to give him your presents.
He stood up and left the living room going to the spare bedroom we had as an office. You stood up and gathered his gifts under the tree and left the others for your friends.
Juyeon returned sitting on the couch, a small box held in his hands. It was extravagantly wrapped like you had done; which was done by the stores you bought them from because wrapping gifts is the bane of your existence.
You stand next to him, handing him his first gift.
“I feel bad now, you got so many for me,” he muttered, fiddling with the box.
Shaking your head, you watched in excitement as he opened the wrapping and took out the headset box. His eyes lit up with joy.
“Thank you, how did you know this was the one I wanted,” he questioned, setting it on the coffee table.
You laughed, and handed him his second one, “I asked Eric if it was the right one,” you admitted.
Juyeon handed you the box, before pulling out a second hidden present from behind his back.
You opened the box and found a candle with your name on it, “what’s this,” I asked, curious of the gift.
“A candle, but you remember that cologne you said you liked of mine, I went to candle making class and made it with that in mind,” he said, his face turned away from you.
You smiled, leaning over you left a brief kiss on his cheek. After thanking him you continued opening the gifts. It being the first Christmas together it was even more special.
A/N: although it's not the word candles being more than one, I had this idea and even more after knowing what cologne Juyeon wears. So enjoy this being over 500 words.
You were fretting over when to get your crush for the holidays. You were mentally trying to decide between different things. Should it be something practical or should it be something fun or something personal.
Unfortunately, you just decided on a simple sweater. Although you never got a good chance to give it to him, you could never find a good place or time, he was always around friends or you couldn’t find time to meet him alone.
Hyunjae, the aforementioned crush, was someone you were comfortable with. He didn’t force a relationship in any way, and it just came naturally.
A mutual friend, Haknyeon, invited you all out to go ice skating. You were the most graceful on the ice, but you could stay upright. You had a sweater on over a t-shirt and then your jacket, two pairs of socks covered your feet shoved into the ice skates.
“Hey, you made it,” you heard over your shoulder.
Turning you saw Hyunjae wobbling over to you on his skates.
The cold was already making you shiver, your nose was numb and your gloved fingers were starting to get cold.
Hyunjae had come up beside you and was scooting across the ice.
“I definitely wouldn’t miss spending time with my favorite people,” you joked, but only half joking because all of the guys were your closest friends.
He let out a laugh, and stumbled a bit grabbing onto your arm. It happened quickly so you didn’t have time to stop it from happening, and you both ended up on the ice.
Hyunjae apologized numerous times while you got off the ice.
“It’s fine, I’m not hurt,” you assured, going to change into your winter boots.
You two made your way to the concession stand and ordered hot chocolate and food. Once you got the orders from the bored teenager working, you made your way to a table that looked out over the ice rink.
“You seem cold,” Hyunjae commented, catching your attention with his words.
You shook your head, “I’m fine,” you said, before a shiver racked your body.
Hyunjae unwrapped his scarf from around his neck and stood up coming to your side of the table. He wrapped the warm material around your neck and patted your head before returning to his seat.
Maybe you could exchange the sweater for a scarf?
A/N: Day 4! This one was so hard to write and I don't know why, but I got it done!
Baking was a pastime that you enjoyed, and although you really could only do from the box cakes and some cookie recipes your partner Younghoon was always grateful for the sweet treats.
Here you were baking supplies scattered on the countertop of the small kitchen. You rarely ever allowed Younghoon to assist you in baking or cooking in general, mostly because he wasn’t the best when it came to it. You loved him of course you even admitted it on a handmade sugar cookie, but he was like a disaster in the kitchen.
“Younghoon, can you mix this while I add the sugar and eggs,” you asked, handing over the bowl and spoon.
He looked at you unsure, but still took over for you. Quietly he stood over the ingredients, meanwhile you measured out the correct amount of sugar, flour, and got the eggs out. You turned around to see his back facing you, when you walked back to his side you could see his face scrunched in concentration.
“Is it okay if I help,” he asked, his voice quiet and small.
You patted his back, “I want you to help, now I’m going to add the eggs, sugar and you mix it,” you answered, cracking the egg you added it to the bowl with the butter and sugar.
Younghoon carefully and slowly mixed the wet mixture. Once it was thoroughly mixed, you added the vanilla extract, and then the flour.
The flour being added was the beginning of the end; flour ended up on both of you.
“I don’t know how that even happened, but why don’t you let me take over,” you said, hoping to sound calm.
Younghoon let you take over without protest. He kept you company silently while you portioned out the cookie dough to start baking. After setting the timer you settle onto the couch, Younghoon sits next to you, his eyebrows furrowed.
“I wish I could be more helpful,” Younghoon said, his hands clasped in his lap.
Leaning over you took one of his hands in yours, “Younghoon, you keeping me company while I bake is help enough,” you reassured.
He looked at you and smiled, you smiled back. Younghoon was the one who leaned over and pressed a kiss to your lips. You pulled back quickly and frowned at him.
“Kim Younghoon, did you eat some of the cookie dough,” you reprimanded, giving him an icy glare.
He pulled his hand away and shifted away from you, “babe, your baking is really good though,” he soothed, hoping to calm the situation.
You just sighed while going to check the baking cookies. If it was up to him, you wouldn’t have any cookie dough left to bake.
A/N: Day three, I hope you all are enjoying these. I am writing these way ahead of schedule.
What could be said about Jacob that hasn’t been said by his hordes of fans. They had found numerous ways to describe his smile, his laugh, and the way his eyes shined. The one that you liked the most was the way the fans would say he has stars in his eyes, because even to you his eyes shone brightly.
When you first met Jacob, you never thought you would be worthy enough to catch his attention, at least not in the way you had hoped for. His multiple talents left you speechless and jealous, but you also couldn’t help but fall in love with him.
The day came that he had confessed to you, nearly knocking the breath out of you. It was almost unbelievable; almost because he made it seem like you were the only two people in a room surrounded by many. He made it feel like you were the person made to be with him, and he was the one for you.
The confession came suddenly and, on a night when it was clear but cold. You had lost Jenga and were forced out into the cold to get snacks for everyone. Jacob being ever the nice guy – despite the innumerable protests he wasn’t - accompanied you.
After making the trip to the convenience store and loaded down with bags you made the trip back. The night was clear making it even colder to the people running errands before the stores closed for the night. The stars shined above and the lack of moon face, made them shine even through the city lights.
You stopped at a crosswalk, waiting for the lights to chance you blew out a held breath. Steam from your hot breath danced from your lips up into the night.
“When I was younger, I would do that and pretend I was a dragon,” Jacob recalled, making you both laugh at the silliness of it.
As you neared the building that held The Boyz’s dorm you both slowed. Jacob eventually stopped, making you stop a few steps ahead before turning back towards him.
“I really like you,” he blurted out, avoiding eye contact.
You couldn’t believe your ears, so you asked him to repeat it. When he did you closed the distance and pressed a chaste kiss to his red cheek. Admitting your mutual feelings, you made it back with the snacks.
If his cheeks were red from embarrassment or from the cold, it was hard to tell really but his eyes mirrored the starry night above.
