“Part of me shouldn’t feel surprised that something like this has happened. It is sad.”
“Why not? Whitehill has great security, I’ve always felt safe here. Until last week, that is of course.”
reagan-davis:
“True but this one sucked. I don’t understand how they thought they were going to be granted access. C’mon.” Reagan rolled his eyes. “Bartenders are the easiest to trick.” he teased.
“In defence of bartenders, I’m also just really gullible,” India said with a chuckle, shaking her head. “But that shouldn’t be a problem anymore now that I got promoted.”
reagan-davis:
“It’s cute how these kids think that they can fool me with their fake IDs.” Reagan rolled his eyes, tossing yet another fake id into the trash. “They must think I’m dumb.” he scoffed and grinned.
"Well you have to hand it to them, some of them look really legit,” India said with a shrug. “I almost let one slip when I was working the bar.”
hallieloz:
“You caught me at a very bad time.” Hallie took a drag of her cigarette, resting her head on the wall, outside of the club. “I haven’t had a break yet and I haven’t had a cigarette since the start of my shift so, I guess whatever it is, will have to wait.” She gave the other a smile, wrapping a single arm around her waist.
"Oh. Sorry. Busy shift tonight?” India leaned against the wall next to the girl, but since she didn’t smoke, she just fiddled with her phone she held in her hands. “I just came out for some air and maybe a chat but I can leave you to your cigarette.”
jasonreyes:
Looking the woman over again, Jason nodded. “Very much.” He mused. “Mainly paperwork. Figuring how to assist handling press but considering the guy killed himself there’s a bit less work on my hands. More handling the families.”
“I still can’t believe what happened. I was there when the other girl ran out, screaming,” India couldn’t help but confess. “It was a little terrifying. But I guess the silver lining is there’s no killer out on the loose somewhere.”
patrick-connor:
“Seems like I picked a hell of a weekend to take a trip out of town.”
"All things considered, you probably picked the best time to be out of town.”
mitchellslmuir:
Mitch looks like the last thing he needs is another drink but he smiles at her anyways. “Just wine and a shot of 151.” He looks drunk but not wasted and his speech isn’t hard to understand.
“Sure thing,” she said with a smile, noticing he’s already a little gone. “How’s your night been so far?”
alexandra-beckett:
“Something strong, give me a long island iced tea, double, in a big glass.” she said as she sat at the bar, a frown on her face. “I’m glad this is all dealt with at least.”
“Coming right up.” She reached for one of the taller glasses, her eyes moving towards the female every now and then. “So it’s all over now?”
jasonreyes:
Jason shook his head as he took the glass and offered the woman a smile. “I’m good thank you. Right now I need more of this and less of that.” He waved at the club behind him.
“Oh, alright,” she agreed with a small smile, leaning back against the bar. “Yeah, it’s been a hell of a long day. I bet you’ve had your hands full.”
Just a quick little note, India’s been working as a bartender at Whitehill (for 10 months), but since it pays more I’m assuming, she applied to become an escort.
jasonreyes:
“You would be correct. Bourbon on the rocks please.” He ran his fingers through his hair carefully. “You new here too? The employee that was killed was as well I hear.“
She prepared the glass and drink as she turned away from the bar. “Oh, I’ve been working here for a few months now.” But India was quiet and often flew under the radar. “Did you know the girl?”
mica-robbins:
Mica took a deep breath as he looked up at the girl. “I can’t.” Mica said softly as he pressed a hand over his chest as he closed his eyes. He blinked a little as he looked back to India.
“Why not?” Was he hyperventilating? India started to get worried. “Do you need a— a paper bag or something?”
viola-klepin:
“What the heck are wrong with people? You would think something bad like that wouldn’t happen here.”
“I wouldn’t dream of it happening here either, but here we are,” India said with a sigh. “Is it weird that I used to feel so safe here? And now it’s...gone.”
sinfulxxangel:
Sure a drink does sound good to me. I will take a Blue Hawaiian.
Sure thing babe. How’ve you been holding up?
jasonreyes:
“Lets just say it’s been one hell of a day.“ He agreed. “Bourbon, on the rocks please.“
“Oh, no argument there,” she shook her head. Moving quickly she had a whiskey glass prepped for him and slid across the bar top. “Anything else? I think the kitchen’s closed but there’s a few snacks here...peanuts, chips.”
jasonreyes:
Jason chuckled dryly and nodded ”That obvious?”
“Well with everything that’s happened, I just figured. What would you like?”
alexandra-beckett:
“Honestly at this point I’m not even going to say no to a drink.. or two.”
“I feel like everyone could do with one with how things have been going. So, um, what’ll it be?”
