in pursuit of their prey, two hunters unknowingly awaken an ancient being, deep in the heart of a mystical swamp... 

 after many months of working tirelessly on this film, it is finally complete! the awakening is a blend of 3d and motion capture. 

 my roles during production: 

- making the opening credits.  - modelling the short hunter, terrain and tree leaves. - texturing character models. - recording, cleaning and retargeting mocap data for the hunters running and final gun point. - animating wisp eye reveal and hunter watching wisp rise. - post-production editing, colour grading and sound.

my first attempt at using unreal engine's metahuman model in maya, starting with a handkey animation.

michael is a short film that shows the distorting effect of instant grief. one ordinary day is turned upside down for wren, when they receive a life-changing phone call that changes their perspective on life and what it truly means to live.

in the live action segment, the audience is offered a glimpse of wren and michael's friendship and his eventual demise that lead to that one fateful call...

Digital painting can be tricky at the best of times. Sketching organic objects helped to exercise my skill in drawing with a variety of photoshop textures. 

The above pomegranate sketch is my absolute favourite out of all my sketches and took as long to draw as the full page of mini drawings below. It was in this drawing where I really experimented with a variety of textures and techniques. My overall goal was to create something close to realism, with my own artistic style.

The sketch of Frank Iero was not a part of this task but I did draw it while working on my other pieces and after utilising the Loomis method, as demonstrated in my deconstructed sketches, I wanted to show the vast improvement of my portrait drawings.
