some of you have been curious about the AU I posted about with feralnette, so here’s some details: 

her new attitude and actions are a direct result of realizing Hawkmoth is closing in on her identity faster than she’s closing in on his, and Lila’s totally messed up her social network. between being ladybug, the guardian, and her school’s ‘everyday ladybug,’ Marinette realizes she has to give up one of these responsibilities to literally keep paris safe, so she plays things tactically.

if she can convince everyone around her that she’s only dedicated to her studies, no longer has an interest in keeping stable relationships, and that she wants to be alone, even letting herself cut loose and act on impulses she would usually hold back on, then Hawkmoth - apart of everybody - would be convinced she’s not Ladybug and her identity along with her actual loved ones, are safe.

it works pretty well, at the sacrifice that Marinette doesn’t exactly have stable friendships anymore and Lila’s more easily manipulated her outbursts to her own advantage - but Marinette is at the point that she doesn’t actually care about Lila. She’s busy. She has studies, both magical and practical, to work on, villains to fight, and between being responsible for a classroom and being responsible for the lives of Paris… she can’t keep trying to debunk Lila’s tall tales. She doesn’t have the time or energy to waste on people who WANT to believe what she says.

Everyone thinks on some aspect Lila’s won, but Lila herself is leery… there’s something incredibly certain and determined in Marinette’s gaze, as though everything she does is on purpose, like a pre-determined chess move…

The only person so far actually interested in getting to know her as she is, not as she’s displaying or projecting herself as, is (insert trope) Felix, the transfer student.

He’s got a mask of his own, and realizing Marinette is under such stress that she seems to have a totally different persona in school than at home, he’s a bit determined to get to the bottom of her mystery… or at least get close enough to peek at her fashion ideas lmao

they used to, just a little bit - not because they disliked each other, but because both of them don't have a lot of people to talk to. they'd sort of tease each other good-naturedly here and there but be a bit mean sometimes

buuuut keeping Marinette from going past tense is a two person job and they learn to appreciate each other's graces VERY quickly

Grace, explaining how humans evolved: yeah so basically we evolved to be persistance predators where we would just slowly walk towards our prey and track it until it got so tired it couldn't fight back or run away and then we killed it :)

The Eridian science teams try soooo hard to be soooo normal about Grace. "He helped save our entire planet, we cant experiment on him!" "Hes a whole ass intelligent being, the biodome isnt like a zoo enclosure at all we swear." "Rocky might actually kill us if we try and add enrichment things to the biodome just to see what happens. It'll seem like an insult to Grace's intelligence."

Meanwhile Grace is just waiting in anticipation for someone to ask for a chunk of his hair or something. Hes lowkey curious as to what theyd find. Hes fine with being a creature to them its chill he gets it as a fellow intellectual and all around curious guy who insisted on watching Rocky eat.

The concept that married people live longer is interesting. I'm sure there is some merit to the idea that if you're married there is someone there to nag you about going to the doctor, but I think much larger factors are having the finances of dual incomes and access to an immediate support person.

Surgeries require having a designated person to look after you. Many injuries require driving to somewhere like an emergency room which can be hard to do if you are the one injured. If you're home with the flu, it's hard to tell when it's bad enough to go to the hospital without another person checking on you. And if you pass out it requires another person to find you like that to get medical aid.

You can prop it up as the benefits of marriage, but I think there's a much deeper discussion to be had about how we've built society around marriage as an inevitable conclusion and neglected to build support systems that function outside of romantic pairings.

I think it would be funny if most of Grace's eridian students went to him and asked for earth pronoun designations instead of picking for themselves, because they think it's cool to get word-gifts from the coolest teacher in the galaxy

and grace is trying so hard to not accidentally be sexist or assign gender roles to a monogendered species, so like, trying hard not to call someone he/him just because they like sports, or she/her just because they seem caring, or whatever. and he's having a hard time about it because he's like oh man why am I assigning the pronouns I'm assigning, i hope I'm not bringing any of my biases into this. just absolutely eating himself up over it

he tries to fix this by starting to roll a die, or throw darts at a dartboard, but his students immediately throw a fit because the point of the word-gifts is that they are specific, picked deliberately for them, right? and grace tries to explain gender bias and so on, but it becomes clear these kids could genuinely not give less of a shit, they just want to know what their AGAG (assigned gender at grace) is, alright? why is this so hard for him to understand??

eventually grace comes to the conclusion that he's on a different planet, and severely overthinking this, and that his kids really just are having fun--they really don't see the grace-given pronouns as categorization, he figures they see them as something more akin to astrology. or an eridian tiktok trend. when grace learns they call the assigning a word-gift he probably cries tbh

au where Marinette is outed about lying to her friends and Adrien about Hawkmoth/Gabriel/literally all of that, and in a fit of grief and rage, Chat Noir tries to destroy his own memories - his friends interfere, with many of them getting hurt, and Marinette accidentally ends up taking the blow.

Luka takes the chance to snatch up the one that got away. It's fine. Marinette is happier this way, and he makes a better Ladybug. (...right?)

what i got from GOAT 2026: a fun, silly, lovingly crafted story about the importance of community with the animation rizz of Spiderverse and the background aesthetics (plus banger black soundtrack) of kipo and the age of wonder beasts

Update:

Kipo and the age of wonderbeasts full series DVD set [English‚ French‚ Latin American Spanish Dubs]

She-ra and the princess of power Seasons 1-3 DVD set [English, French, Latin American Spanish Dubs]

Seasons 4 and 5 of She-ra were never released in physical media.

Bear in mind, these DvDs are regions 1 [America], most DvD players aren't region locked but still, important to know.

Please, if you can try and salvage this shows other dubs so they don't become lost media, a lot of people worked on them and it would be a shame to see them get lost forever.

Doing my best right now to salvage the EU Spanish Dubs of both shows, it's 3 seasons Kipo and 5 She-ra which is a lot of episodes, I don't know how much time I will have left after recording both shows in one dub, but I will try my best to get at least another one [Probably french or German]
