HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY, UNDERTALE! ❤️

Undertale is 10 years old now ❤️, I find that absolutely wiiillldd. Ok so! Two months ago, I had a friend reach out to me asking if I participated in the memory submission link that Toby posted on his Twitter. I didn’t end up doing that. Whooooops…. I simply just couldn’t express everything I wanted to in way that conveyed how Undertale truly impacted me in a 30(?) word limit text box lmao. ✨However, nothing can stop me from having a literal yap session in this post soooo.✨ If there were a game that I would love to play and experience for the first time again, I would pick this one. I found it at a pretty low point in my life where the same friend I mentioned at the start of this, and whom I just met at the time in middle school, coaxed me to look it up once I got home from school. I remember vividly how I teared up after Asriel’s fight. There was many quotes and moments, happy and sad, that stood out to me and stayed with me after. I find it very hard to only pick one favorite though, so here’s four instead that struck me most!

* “if we’re not giving up down here... don’t give up wherever you are, ok?”

* “take care of yourself kid. ‘cause someone really cares about you.”

* “You never gained LOVE, but you gained love.”

* “Don’t kill, and don’t be killed, alright? That’s the best you can strive for,”

This game is still very sentimental to me and it never stopped being an absolute favorite to me and I don’t think that would ever change. It’s love and art personified in a video game. (Thank you Toby Fox for inventing music 😌) Anyways! Hope everyone likes the art, I personally enjoyed drawing it and playing around with drawing some of the characters that I don’t normally draw often/drawn before.
