Neue ZĂźrcher Zeitung (1928). Otto Baumberger (Swiss, 1889-1961). Wolfsberg, Zurich. Poster.
Baumberger artfully presents profile silhouettes reading newspapers. Perhaps the three heads reinforce the newspaperâs claim of appearing three times a day. The typography is cleverly arranged along two diagonals, which along with the peopleâs faces, helps create intense movement within the image to highlight the message.
