Hey my lovely angels and demons, my Crowley and Aziraphales. I dont like doing this but the costs alone for IVF or IUI are very expensive. Would anyone be willing to donate so that two lesbians can have a baby? We have already spent 3 grand on counselling alone. The cost of living and the cost of IUI is making it seem impossible for LGBTQIA+ people to have kids. If you can donate, anything would be amazing.

How do we feel about this outcome? A 90 minute finale to the story? I feel they wont do it justice in 90 minutes. And i swear to god, if they dont make the aziraphale/crowley relationship happen, i dont want to see.

Ok, so i just rewatched season 2. Since when did they have an extended scene of the convo between Aziraphale and the Metatron? Like it just cements the idea that Aziraphale was coerced to go to heaven in a part of the conversation we didnt hear. Aziraphale is so hesitant in the parts we see. And also after Crowley walks out and the Metatron walks back in, Aziraphale hesitates by the door. When the Metatron asks if they are ready to go Aziraphale takes a small step back and looks for Crowley. This better not be the ending forever. What are your thoughts on this?

Ok hows this for a theory.

What if Aziraphale lied to Crowley in that final heart wrenching scene?

Hear me out.

We know that lying is a big thing for Aziraphale in this season. But what if he lied at the end to protect someone. That someone being Crowley.

When the Metatron gives Aziraphale the coffee and he asks if he should drink it, the Metatron states that he has ingested things before in his time. Not drunk coffee but more likely ingested other fallen angels into his being.

I diverge, but there has been a smattering of Aziraphale lying throughout the entire season. When he lies to the angels about Jobs children and when he lies to the archangels about performing the biggest miracle at 25 lazerii was for Maggie and Nina to fall in love. He has little smatterings of lies throughout each episode, but those are the main ones.

They say things happen in 3 so the first big lie, Jobs children, the second big lie, Maggie and Nina love and the third big lie could only be lying to Crowley about going back to heaven with him.

What if the Metatron threatened Aziraphale about Crowley, being that the book of life theory wasnt really used too much in this season, that he would erase Crowley from the book of life if he stayed with him.

I mean look at how flustered Aziraphale gets when Crowley calls him out. Asking... no, begging he said no.

Aziraphale is given an option by the Metatron, give me coffee (Aziraphale goes to heaven to keep Crowley safe) or give me death (Crowley is erased from the book of life if Aziraphale doesnt return). This makes sense to me because the line Metatron asks Nina is emphasised greatly. "Does anyone choose death?" Then when Nina answers no he goes along the "predictable" line.

Now, surely, this is what he meant when he asked Nina this question. It isnt really explored further than the initial line, but there has to be meaning to it because of the emphasis.

Also, what could have changed Aziraphales mind so quickly? He first says to the Metatron that he has nothing left to say, then comes back not even 10 minutes later stating he is returning to heaven and Crowley can come.

Just seems a little suspicious if you ask me.

So what if Aziraphale did lie to Crowley to protect him. He knows that Crowley would never return to heaven, so this is the perfect way to keep him safe without hinting that something is wrong.

Because we all know that Crowley knows what they were going to do to Gabriel for stopping the oncoming apocalypse, and now his best friend is going back to the place that tried to kill Aziraphale with hellfire.

If Crowley knew that Aziraphale had been threatened, there would be no stopping him from going to heaven and bringing dread and doom along with him.

Crowley knows that with Aziraphale going back to heaven that he will be surrounded by people who hate him, and i think Aziraphale knows this also but is still trying to protect Crowley by lying.

The way he has to compose himself after the kiss because he knew that the Metatron would be back shortly.

And then the way that the Metatron asks "how did he take it?" Instead of is he coming with you.

Just a thought...

Ok, just hear me out.

We know from the beginning of season two that Crowley no longer lives at his flat (shax bringing his mail that builds up at the door, plants in his backseat etc) but do we ever think about the implications of his car?

It has always been a safe place for him. Driving on the M25 while it was on fire because he believed his car was strong enough and safe enough to get him through it.

No matter how fast he drives it, it has always kept him from being unfortunately disincorperated.

He cleary has an emotional and physical connection with the car, ie: can feel when Aziraphale is driving under the speed limit, when he changes the colour of the car and when he has his lovely travel sweet.

Saying that though, the car seems to have a physical relationship with its driver aka Crowley or Aziraphale. With Crowley it plays Queen which represents his feelings oh so well, but with Aziraphale it plays classical, like it respects the changes he makes. When Aziraphale gets back to his book shop, the Bentley creeps forward towards Aziraphale, not only because it probably enjoyed not being tested to its limit, but also because he can feel Crowleys love for Aziraphale and the need for them to be close together.

But Crowley was hesitant to let Aziraphale drive it at first stating "The Bentley is my car". He only allows him to drive it after finding out the archangels visit Aziraphale because he believes his car is a safe place that will protect Aziraphale from any harm.

One thing that Crowley is sure of is that the Bentley will go to literal hell and back to protect its occupants.

We know Crowley sleeps in his car, but i believe that he does this so that when Aziraphale calls, he can be there within minutes. Its not like he wouldnt be able to miracle his way into another flat if he felt like it, so the only reason he could be living in his car is to be close to Aziraphale without living with him.

And we know that they get a lot of use out of the bookshop, but it seems Crowley is scared to move into the bookshop fully so he keeps his stuff in his safe place, that being his car.

Crowley and his car have been together a long time and he has come to rely on its safety.

It almost gives Crowley a safe enough place to always have his glasses off, the only other place he does that is the bookshop where his angel lives.

All in all, the car is his safe receptacle from the outside world, the demons and the angels. From heaven and hell itself, the Bentley can defeat anything.

No but you dont understand, Aziraphale gives up so much to return to heaven in the absolute truth that he thinks he can change everything from the inside.

But this is just too much. He hasnt just given up his "friend" but he has given up his world, his universe and his love, all in the hopes he can change something.

That would have been so hard to walk away from, yet he does it and it breaks everything in Crowley to keep composure and let his angel go.

This parallel breaks my heart. The same words, completely different meaning. And it breaks me in two knowing that one is said as an angel thing after Crowley wants to run away and the other is said through broken tears and red hot anger. My heart :(

This ^ reaction is almost like he is annoyed and cant wait to prove why they should run away. Aziraphale isnt angry here, his thoughts are well thought out. Then theres this...

I cant i just cant. The looks, the sound of their hearts shattering, the absolute silence that follows these words, the small hitch in Crowleys throat... it's too much.
