What do you mean by infected?
I mean im a zombie! I'm not dead though, simply infected! It comes in waves and there are times it's worse and there are times it's better! This is a kintype and alter account.
We are a zombie, but no the zombie apocalypse is not coming! ┐(´ー｀)┌
Stages of infection
Stage one: pains
Minor aches and pains, fatigue, and slight mental fog comes quick, indicating the infection has reached your brain. This tends to happen within a week of contact with an infected.
Stage two: detatchment
This is where you begin to lose your long term memories, like childhood experiences or old friends as well as becoming more restless, pains feel better yet fatigue gets worse. You may or may not find yourself often "coming too" from autopilot. Some patients begin to scratch. This happens within two weeks of contact with an infected.
Stage three: loss
This is where you lose short term memories, like names, faces, dates. You rely on scent and your subconscious to tell you who is who. You may become angry and violent towards those you see. Your pain is significantly reduced despite your skin beginning to decay. This happens within three weeks of contact with an infected.
Stage three: bliss
By this stage you've nearly lost control. You don't quite know what you're doing and depending on the situation, that doesn't scare you. Your wandering around on complete autopilot, only finding momentary awareness when given dopamine. Your body is failing but you're too out of it to realize or care. Your body naturally goes to places of comfort and you feed on whatever moves. This happens within five weeks of contact with an infected
what stage am i?
Healing, so I'm not quite any of these. I've been as far as stage four, it wasn't pretty for anyone but me. But overall I'm around stage two, my body still hurts and my brain is still foggy, occasionally I'll go into stage three(like recently) and start forgetting daily things. But I have supports.
how do you heal?
I wish I knew, for me this whole thing is probably a mix of diagnosable mental illness and physical ailments lol, so talk to your doctors or smtn!
