it's kind of sad that we don't really do custom ringtones anymore. most people just stick with the default list that comes with your phone, if they change it at all. if they're even aware they can change it at all. like yeah, people letting their phones ring in public is obnoxious, but wouldn't it be a little less obnoxious if it was something funny? or personal? people used to change the text tone of every contact so every time they got a text they knew who it was just from the sound. isn't that sweet? isn't that nice? don't you miss it? don't you want to scream when you hear that stupid apple pa-Ting!??? we could have a chorus of awoogas and clips of people's favorite songs and recordings saying '(blank) IS CALLING, WARNING, (blank) IS CALLING' and all things considered i would prefer that over pa-Ting!, pa-Ting!, pa-Ting!, whistle whistle, pa-Ting!

ouuugh hi the aizamatsu brainworms are getting to me (Your Fault). do you have any headcanons 4 them??

and i had to think on this one but i have Some for sure.

i think that aizawa lowkey likes to be little spoon. matsuda kinda wraps around him like a backpack. he would rather die than admit it though so he just flips onto his side away from matsuda and gives him the silent treatment until he cuddles him.

aizawa is old as fuck and has back pain so matsuda always helps massage his shoulders/neck area which sometimes leads to freaky times but not always. they can b wholesome sometimes too :D

matsuda is very insecure and always gets worried that aizawa is going to lose interest in him for not being enough (in every sense of the word) but aizawa just smacks him on the head and tells him he loves him "shut up dumbass"

matsuda is a CLOTHES STEALER. he has like five of aizawa's work shirts and wears them out even though they're a little too big on him. aizawa pretends like this upsets him ( it doesn't. and they always come back smelling like matsuda's apartment which he loves)

aizawa fell first. i will die on this hill. he was so confused when he started Looking at matsuda in that way but eventually just thought : fuck it all i could die tomorrow might as well die with a twink by my side.

matsuda fell harder. (but they're both equally insane about each other) he never thought that someone as cool and smart as aizawa-san could like him,,, boys can like bouys too?!?!? but once he came to terms with it he's down bad

they struggle with open communication, especially because matsuda is a "smile through the pain" type and aizawa is a "constant scowl so no one knows how im really feeling about it" kinda guy.

this is more of an aizawa-specific headcanon but i truly believe that he has a little trauma from his ex-wifey. (ik they never divorced in canon shhh) when him and matsuda got into their first heated relationship argument he was expecting matsuda to get physical with him and matsuda was like ???? I love u why would i put my hands on u.

I would've put Light's dot for Aizawa on "obsessed — doesn't know they exist" a bit more to the left had I not forgotten. he's still pretty irrelevant compared to Near, Mello, etc, but he's there more than Ide.

one thing that i adore about the jdrama is that they made the task force basically a friend group instead of just a bunch of coworkers. Mogi is Soichiro’s friend who knew Light when he was little, Matsuda is also a family friend who Light literally already has in his phone (!!), Aizawa while not known to Light is a friend(ish) of Matsu’s and so has an in to the group already. I love love love their dynamic so much. Best task force iteration by a MILE
