‘We’re all stories in the end’ (2026)
A2 sized Acrylic painting. After the news of the hiatus, and not knowing when Doctor who would come back, I decided to do this painting to commemorate the tv show that has shaped me and my youth. It showed me that I was allowed to be different, a little bit strange, to seek joy wherever I could find it. There is probably no other character in the world that I resonate with more than The Doctor. In the 50th anniversary episode Bad Wolf says to the Doctor how the Tardis and its groaning wheezing sound brought hope to whoever heard it. I wanted to capture that hope and magic in this piece and I hope I did it some justice!
“self diagnosed autism is bad because it takes away support services from people who actually need them!”
what support services? unless you are a child there is none and the people without professional diagnosis need them too!
Say it louder for the people in the back
Why “High Functioning” Is Being Retired
Autism Feed
yeah, I was diagnosed with high-functioning autism (technically Asperger's Syndrome cuz I'm old) as a kid and all that meant to the people who were supposed to be my support network seems to have been "needs absolutely no support" :/
I can really relate @xxxadgothur
I was fortunately able to get my diagnosis back when I was 12. I was diagnosed with the same thing. Never really got any support though. Guess they thought I didn’t need it. Idk.
It's really fucked up looking back at my childhood and early adulthood and recognizing just how little support I got from my parents. Like sometimes I had therapy and meds but they put zero effort into learning about autism and just spouted off shit about how I have a super power and how I should just be able to force myself to hyperfixate on a subject and get through 4 years of college in 2 years. And if I was struggling and having panic attacks triggered by school, then I should just "try harder."
Anyway, sorry for venting/trauma dumping on your post, I guess I just have to get it out in some way. Love your blog and thank you for spreading info and awareness about autism and ADHD 🫶
The AuDHD struggle is very real 😭
The struggle is very real. Take care. ❤️
Not really, but I've had the same thing for breakfast almost every single day for four years.
Send me to Mars with party supplies before next august 5th
No guys you don’t understand.
The soil testing equipment on Curiosity makes a buzzing noise and the pitch of the noise changes depending on what part of an experiment Curiosity is performing, this is the way Curiosity sings to itself.
So some of the finest minds currently alive decided to take incredibly expensive important scientific equipment and mess with it until they worked out how to move in just the right way to sing Happy Birthday, then someone made a cake on Curiosity’s birthday and took it into Mission control so that a room full of brilliant scientists and engineers could throw a birthday party for a non-autonomous robot 225 million kilometres away and listen to it sing the first ever song sung on Mars*, which was Happy Birthday.
This isn’t a sad story, this a happy story about the ridiculousness of humans and the way we love things. We built a little robot and called it Curiosity and flung it into the star to go and explore places we can’t get to because it’s name is in our nature and then just because we could, we taught it how to sing.
That’s not sad, that’s awesome.
*this is different from the first song ever played on mars (Reach For The Stars by Will.I.Am) which happened the year before, singing is different from playing
This is humanity
Happy Birthday, Curiousity.
Happy birthday, Curiosity.
Happy birthday, Curiosity.
Happy birthday, Curiosity!
Happy birthday, Curiosity!💕
Happy Birthday, Curiosity
happy birthday, curiosity
happy birthday, Curiosity
Happy birthday, curiosity!
Happy birthday, curiosity
Happy birthday little one.

It feels like it happens rarely, but sometimes we do get good news.
Autistic Person: (complains)
Society: "Quit being so negative. You're always complaining nonstop. Your life isn't as bad as you're making it seem. If you just started thinking positive, your struggles would vanish."
Autistic Person: (is happy)
Society: "Quit glorifying autism. Not everyone's autism is a superpower. Many people struggle because of it."
