I saw all the sad tags in response to my last adaptation of the Solas theme and thought ‘hm how can I make this SADDER and more angsty’

this time it’s a choir

not to break up with lavellan, obviously

but he made plans

he had to have - crestwood is so far away from skyhold, and he is so eager to have her accompany him

I wonder what the moments before the well conversation were

amidst his fear and frustration with how the events at the temple played out, did he ask a servant to pack her a bag? Did he pack it himself? What was the chatter around the great hall as residents and visitors alike noticed the apostate’s belongings joining the inquisitors down the stairs.

What did Dennet think, when solas requested two mounts be prepared for a long journey moments after the party returned from the arbor wilds? Could he sense Solas’ anxiety? The fearful thread of hope that threatened to lighten his shoulders?

How quickly did the kitchen staff begin to gossip about rations prepared for two? Did they slip an extra skein of into the pack, their own well-wishes poured in with the good wine?

What did Lavellan think, arriving at the foot of the gates to find weeks worth of travel prepared, two bedrooms and a single tent, Solas standing taller than he ever had, save in their shared dreams, and holding out a hand to help her mount her steed. Did his hand tremble with the weight of what he would say? Or did the prospect of finally admitting the truth help him leap into the saddle?

How quickly did the entire castle know that solas intended to devote himself to the inquisitor

and how quickly did all their smiles turn to ash when he returned alone

no because actually i don’t think we talk enough about how solas gets on his knees in the trespasser finale with a romanced lavellan. his name literally means pride. he EMBODIES pride. but his name also literally means “to stand tall”. HIS NAME MEANS TO STAND TALL. god of rebellion. and he is on his knees cradling her face and telling her he’s sorry. i have to go walk into traffic

Just a nice romantic edit of Solas feeling Lavellan up with his thigh, no big deal.

Lets just break this down a sec…

Not ONLY is he apparently smothering your mouth with his lips ( from the angle we were originally given) but, for his first kiss, this guy is so frustrated he must BEND you OVER, forcing you to cling to his body, WHILE riding his thigh! T

his guy made sure you felt EVERYTHING he could possibly do to you, in one fell stroke! 

No wonder your Lavellan looked so..windedO_O before he goes in for a SECOND kiss! 

No wonder he pulled away; Solas was already getting hot and heavy in this fade dream, he just managed to snap out of it in time before things went too far!

It makes me wonder if this was partially the fault of previous fade dreams he may have had about you;

Leading up to this one- then he realizes-

HOLy sh** wait- this is REAL Lavellan! Ialmostforgot!! stopstopstopstopstop! weshouldn’t!

On top of that, after some real life scientific tests (for science), the lifting motion in his thigh directly stimulates the clitoris. Direct pressure. I have to make a gif of it to show you, but, also what you see through flycam is that the first thing he does is grab your hips and pull them to his before he even gets his thigh in there. It starts out pleasurable to him and then he does a movement that can only really benefit you (the thigh).

Pretty suave and, dare I say, experienced, if you ask me.

I need more observation on solavellan cutscenes like this one, more flycam please ladies we need it for *ehem science, and theorize how thirsty Solas is to Lavellan :3

so. we’ve known for a while that solas has lavellan ride his thigh in the fade, thanks to flycam and posts like this. but since i haven’t seen any gifs on the specifics of how it happens, i made some. here’s the breakdown:

as tumblr @kreebby​ notes, solas first pulls lavellan’s hips to his. really, though, it’s more like he slams her to him? he’s that horny. i had to slow the gif quite a bit.

two different angles for the thigh-riding for y’all. for some reason, i assumed the dipping wasn’t as deliberate as it was desperate. i was wrong. as we can see, it was deliberate. he literally bends lavellan to a position where she’s perfectly situated to ride him. any lift of his thigh is minor, as he only needs to apply a little more pressure.

Veiltober - day 11, Solas

Everyone's fav egg is here!! This is probs my darkest one yet, but this is def how I see Solas. For how much he preaches to not be an elvhen god, he sure does like to cause the murder of thousands xD No one can sway his hand either, he's got a plan you know!!

Three days later and this teaser still makes me dizzy. I mean, omg??!!!???

So in case you feel the same way, if you aren’t done rewatching this for the 57th time, you can do so here. And if it’s also true that it still manages to give you a panic attack, have Solas calming down a panic attack in the same neat package!

(Sadly, I can’t figure out how to have the video first and the audio file second, but it’s still both there!)

I highly doubt we will get this in Veilguard but I fully love the idea of Lavellan and Solas seeing each other after almost a decade and falling in love all over again.

Solas still trying to hold her at arm's length, and Lavellan trying to reconcile being apart for so long...but the gravity has always proven to be too much and the magnetic pull too strong.

Adding to this post because this time round it's Lavellan falling in love with Solas now knowing the truth of who he is.
