I've had far too much fun making pantheons recently. I don't know what it is, but something's compelled me to give space pirates three whole pantheons - none of which are plot relevant!

3/13/19 Update:
Hiyas Everyone
I am currently at $492 of the next goal $500! Every dollar, even one, is useful!
So is all the sharing. Please keep sharing, as it shows it to new people who might have that single dollar. Thank you for your time!
Tagging a few more writerblrs from the tag list, please share! That is all I am asking for at this time! If you have a spare dollar to pledge, that’d be awesome, but really, the sharing is the important part. We have different followers and circles, so it shows it to new peeps who may be able to do a dollar themselves!

The Mother Terminal part ?
"Pallas?” Liv asked tentatively.
There was a long pause. “What?”
"Are you okay?”
"I’m fine, what do you need?”
"No—no, I don’t need anything. You just seemed on edge earlier today.”
"It’s trivial.”
"It’s not.”
Another pause. “I just—I guess I’m kind of grieving?” It was a question.
"Why? What happened?”
Static occupied the intercom for a few seconds. “Pallas Five went—went offline last week. Stopped responding to Central.”
Liv nodded slowly. “Did you know her—them?—well?”
"That’s the thing. Five wasn’t—wasn’t alive. Not like me, just early twenty-second-century problem-solving and stuff. But still. I kind of thought of her like an older sister, or an ancestor.” Pallas paused. “I guess she’d be around nine hundred years old, now.”
"Do they… know what happened? Could they fix her?”
"They probably could, but… they won’t. The report I read said Neptune’s magnetic field flipped again. Astrometric calculators overreacted and dropped her into orbit around Milmilia.”
"Milmilia?”
"The new one. If she hasn’t already been shredded, most of her equipment will be melted together by the end of the month.”
"I’m… I’m sorry.”
"Yeah. Me too. I just—I know there’s nothing to mourn, you know. But—”
"But there is, Pallas, and you’re not wrong for being sad. Even if she wasn’t conscious, she was still a scientist. We made her, and she made incredible discoveries. Isn’t it because of her that we even know about Milmilia?”
Pallas was silent.
"A thing doesn’t have to think to be loved,” Liv said quietly, and was surprised to find tears in her eyes.
Pallas hummed mournfully. “Thank you, Olivia. You—you’re the best.”
"If you need anything, just let me know, okay?”
"I—” Pallas paused. “I can’t hug you.”
"I’m sorry.”
"Just… just let the director know I’ll need an hour or two to myself, okay?”
Liv nodded softly, getting up from the bed. “Take as long as you need.”
Kinda of an unpopular (I guess??) opinion but writing is about exploring themes and situations and it’s ok if you want to sometimes look into something dark. It’s ok to write a story were your main character is genuine a horrible fucking person who does horrible things and gets no redeemtion. Even if they still get away with it at the end. It’s ok to write a character that has 0 redeemtion traits. It’s ok to write dark, fucked up themes, some of the best works of literature has been written that way.
Reblog of you have aro/ace characters in your WIP!
All y’all on writeblr: explain your WIP to me as badly as possible

Wrapped in seaweed, sparkling bottle on the beach, I approached it while the waves edged closer and closer to reclaiming it. Lifted it with both hands like it was a baby, and wiped the dirty green away. Cork stopper on top, a rolled note inside, and… something more. It was heavier than it should have been.
Brought it home and put it on the table, next to the buddha and the photograph of us wearing garlands against a setting sun. What an ugly photo, with gaudy flash and distracting tourists in the background. But it’s what I had. All the good photos, she took with her, and she was gone now.
As soon as I pulled out the cork from the bottle, I felt a wind shoot for my face. It was fresh, a little floral. Not at all like the salty air of the beach that I was used to. The scent lingered for a few scant moments.
I tried to get the note out of the bottle, but first, a vial emerged. It had been inside the rolled-up note, and I caught it just before it could go crashing to the stone floor. A wispy yellow-green fluid glowed from inside the vial. Shaking it drew fresh new patterns inside, like dragons chasing each others’ tails.
I put the vial aside and opened the note. I recognised the handwriting right away.
The sentences toyed with my mind. My eyes scanned the same words several times, hoping to extract new meaning. Outside, the sun arched from moon down towards a sunset, casting orange light into the shack.
By the time I was done reading the note, several parts of the page had been smudged by my tears. The ink dissolved, swam, spread out. When I let it rest on the table, the paper curled up again. It rocked with the sea breeze, back and forth, back and forth.
I examined the vial and pulled its tiny stopper out. There was a whiff of cherries to the vial, despite its strange colouring. I closed it again. Shake before use. So I shook it, vigorously, violently, briefly.
No, I thought. I needed to read the page one more time, properly. So I put the vial on the table again, and unfurled the note.
A gust of wind accompanied the sunset outside. My eyes barely left the half-sunken disc of the sun, barely turned to the table when I saw the vial roll off the table.
I jumped, reached out my hand. The note dropped to the floor, crushed beneath my foot. My hand touched the vial, but it wasn’t enough. I couldn’t grasp it. The vial bounced, and I watched it arc before it landed on the stone.
A tiny shattering, like a child’s heart breaking. The liquid spilled out and spread on the stone, staining it at first, and then evaporating.
When I picked up the note for a third time, I didn’t read the words. Instead, I stared at the smeared ink, and I imagined what I wanted to read.
My brain: New story idea!! Must write now!
Me: okay… what’s the plot..?
My brain: Hmm, plot? No, no, no, none of that here, my good friend, my good sir, my good ma’am, but may I offer you an overall general Vibe, an aesthetic if you will, a vague feeling to convey, a-
