I know this is a shitpost but it describes a real symptom I experienced at the height of clinical depression, when the physical exhaustion was so severe that even lying down in bed offered little relief--my body was exhausted and uncomfortable, even when RESTING.

what I'm saying is, extreme fatigue like this post is describing can well be a red flag of an underlying condition, whether it's an untreated illness (mental or physical), or severe stress/overwork, etc.

If this is something you experience on a recurring basis, please talk to a doctor if you have the resources to do so. (If finances are an issue, consider calling local public/community health centers to see what assistance you qualify for. Also, always ask your providers about income tiered pricing/patient assistance programs.)

The yellow light is artificial but the blue is from the deck prism, on a cloudy day.

The group Liter of Light helps light the homes of impoverished people around the world with a similar invention: a clear plastic bottle containing a liter of water and three milliliters of bleach. They’re placed in the roof of the home much like the deck prism and “refract the light from outdoors into the house, lighting up much like a light bulb.” They can be used to replace kerosene lamps, which are both a fire and fume hazard.

Since the bottle only works with sunlight, Liter of Light came up with a solution for night time. Huffington Post stated, “by slipping a test tube with a small LED light bulb into the bottle, which in turn is hooked up to a mini-solar panel, the bottle can still refract light during the day, but then also be used as a light bulb at night.” They also make streetlights!

In case anyone reading my blog is unaware, this is a reference to the Green Day song titled “Wake Me Up When September Ends” a song that Billie Joe Armstrong wrote following the death of his father in September of 1982 when Billie Joe was ten years old. The title of the song references his desire to sleep through September in an effort to get some emotional distance from the death of his father.

He’s since been open about the emotional difficulty of having written the song since many people now message him on October 1st to ‘wake him up’ despite the song being a memorial to his departed father.

It’s generally seen as respectful to not try to wake him up. Let him sleep and let him remember his father in peace.

I’m rewatching DWIT and I happened to notice that when Remus falsely announces that Logan is actually Deceit in disguise, they all believe Remus without question

And the fact that Logan is telling Thomas the truth about who Remus is as a part of him doesn’t help in the slightest. Thomas and Patton (the ones we see react) are so desperate to discredit Remus as part of Thomas’s creativity that they immediately take his word that Logan is not Logan even though they may have never even considered it if Remus hadn’t brought it up.
