Trapped Family in Gaza Appeals for Help to Survive
I am Mohammed Alanqer, married to Enas Majed. We have three children, and recently, during the war, we welcomed a new baby, making our children four now. We pray to God to protect them and keep them safe from harm in this harsh war.
When the war began, I was deeply worried about our three children, and now, with the arrival of our new baby, our concerns have only grown. For over 300 days, we have been suffering and fleeing from one place to another. We pray to God to protect our children and keep them safe from harm in this harsh war.

Amidst the ongoing war in Gaza, we find ourselves as a family trapped between walls of fear and despair. I, Mohammed, a father of three children and a husband to a woman in her eighth month of pregnancy, live in an environment filled with threats and risks.
My technology startup, which I built with dedication and hard work, was destroyed during this war, leading to the loss of our livelihood. My children, Layan, Sarah, and Adam, no longer have the opportunity for education due to the destruction of schools, posing a significant threat to their future.
My wife, Enas, lives in constant anxiety due to her advanced pregnancy and the destruction of hospitals in the area. After losing my job and source of income, I find myself in a severe financial crisis, unable to provide for the needs and safety of my family.
Our family home was destroyed due to the war, forcing us to flee and move multiple times, leaving us homeless. Everything has become difficult now; we cannot provide a safe place to live, nor can we afford clean clothes and food for our children. Additionally, our children have been afflicted with diseases such as measles, and our son Adam has been diagnosed with viral hepatitis.
We urgently appeal for your moral and financial assistance to cover the necessary costs for escaping to a safe environment, where we can build a better future for our children and ensure the safety of our family

Update on Our Story and Campaign
To those who have not read our story: We are a family of six, displaced due to the war in Gaza, having lost our home and everything we owned. Our goal with this campaign was to raise funds to help us travel to a safe place via the Rafah crossing, but the situation has become even more complicated.
Latest Updates:
1. Winter without shelter: With the arrival of winter, we remain homeless, facing the bitter cold and difficult living conditions day by day.

2. A newborn in the war: We have a child born during the war, who is now five months old and named Amir. His needs, including clothing, diapers, and baby formula, have become excessively expensive.
3. Skyrocketing prices: Prices in Gaza have become astronomical, making it nearly impossible to meet our daily needs.
4. Travel costs: The cost of travel has risen significantly, with estimates showing that registering one person for travel through the Rafah crossing costs between $5,000 and $7,000. This means that the total cost to register our family for travel reaches $42,000.
5. Basic needs and survival: In addition to travel costs, we need to secure the costs of living and survival in a refugee country if we are fortunate enough to escape, where we will need to provide food, baby formula, diapers, clothing, and medicine for both the children and the family. We also need the minimum essential supplies to survive in Gaza while we wait for the border to open.

I have detailed the required amount so that everyone understands why these costs are so high. The level of suffering we face daily in Gaza, combined with the unprecedented price hikes, makes it impossible to provide even the most basic necessities. The campaign we launched is aimed solely at covering what we need to survive, register for travel, and secure accommodation and basic needs if we are able to escape to safety.
What we need now:
The total amount we need to cover our needs has become $90,000, broken down as follows:
$18,900 will go toward taxes imposed by the country where the campaign sponsor resides.
$18,000 has already been used to cover the exorbitant living expenses in Gaza.
$42,000 is needed to register our family members for travel if the crossing opens.
The remaining amount (approximately $11,100) is allocated for survival costs in Gaza, including food, baby formula, diapers, medicine, and clothing, as well as accommodation and living costs in the refugee country if we are fortunate enough to survive.
We are going through the toughest moments of our lives, and we are relying on your support to help us continue and secure a safe future for us and our children.
