Raw and emotional. I love this version.
First, Warren Zevon's Keep Me in your Heart for a While is one of my favorite songs of all time. Second, I'm amazed at how Eddie Vedder took it from a "funeral dirge like song of impending loss" and turned it into a semi hopeful love song.
Stacy’s Mom - Vintage 1930s Hot Jazz Fountains of Wayne Cover ft. Casey …
Dierks Bentley does a sweet version of U2's "Pride (In the Name of Love)"
I'm posting this because I didn't know it was a cover... for over 20 years. Nirvana - The Man Who Sold The World (David Bowie)
Where has this been all my life? Jim James and Calexico perform Bob Dylan's "Goin' to Acapulco."
Angus and Julia Stone cover the Nelly Furtado single "Say it Right" and it's better than the original!
I really like this American Authors cover of Cyndi Lauper's True Colors (full disclosure, I'm cousins with the bass player)
I can't believe it's take me this long to include Israel Kamakawiwo'ole singing the classic "Over the Rainbow" originally sung by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz. It's one of my favorite covers of all time.
Sam Smith covering Whitney Houston's How Will I Know.
John Mayer covers Beyoncé's 'XO'
I remember the James Hetfield of the 80's and how he acted on stage. It's hard to believe this is the same guy.
There is something very special about the quality of Johnny Cash's voice in his final works. A sincerity combined with an urgency to get them all recorded. A reflection on an exceptional life perhaps. It's all there in this recording of Gordon Lightfoot's "If You Could Read My Mind." (Thanks to Eric for bringing this to my attention.)
I just love this version... #JimmyFallon as #NeilYoung and #BruceSpringsteen cover #WillowSmith's #WhipMyHair
Not exactly a cover, but too awesome not to share.
Heart performs as good a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven" as I've ever seen.
