But about Pony’s parents.

Look at them- look at this couple. How he adores and confides in her. How she follows him out at her sea- making sure he’s okay. How he gave up his humanity, mortality- for her.

HOW SHE CALMS HIM DOWN WHEN HE’S RAMBLING AND WORRIED, IMMEDIATELY RELAXING WHEN SHE HOLDS HIM?!

I’m so not okay about these two.

Ikr! That's why I am kinda glad that they are prolonging this so that they will have time to defeat anyone that tries to use another Skywalker family member for dark deeds. Snoke/Palpatine was after Ben since he was in his mother's womb. A Reylo baby turning to the dark side would be apocalyptic. No more Skywalkers turning to the dark side with Palpatine's defeat and a new jedi way.

I just want to know how the idea of The Hunt For Ben Solo first germinated.

Were, like, Soderbergh and Driver just in town together and having a catch-up over pizza or something, and "Hey Adam, anything else Star Wars in the pipeline for you?"

"Well, ... You saw the last one, right?"

"You looked a lot less dead than Spock was before The Search For Spock. It would be super easy..."

(Soderbergh proceeds to effortlessly give an off-the-cuff summary of, "We can't call it the Search For Solo... The Hunt for Ben Solo? Good enough", right off the top of his head.

It is mythic, yet grounded, witty, yet profoundly philosophical and moving. Adam Driver surreptitiously wipes a tear from his eye and makes a mental note to ring Kathleen Kennedy in the morning when they are all sober).

Meanwhile, Bob Iger overhears his wife saying, "I could happily watch Adam Driver stomp about and whack things with a sword all day!"

When the proposal finally crosses his desk, this phrase comes back to him, and in a fit of pique and spite, he brings out the red pen...
