every character is a runner. yeah, theyāre all crazy fit. every female character is running a six minute mile. sorry I donāt make the rules, thatās just how it Has To Be.
i hope commercial actors are okay rn
had some Big Feelings after therapy regarding existence and legacies, so i channeled it all into a little sinosauropteryx on a tiny piece of scrap paper. ink and watercolor sketch, about 2x2 inches.

SUPERNATURAL | S02E03 "Bloodlust"
I see a lot of nobles out here who think "Well I have a 10,000 square foot castle, surely that's enough space for a knight." WRONG. Knights are WORKING BREEDS, they need to go on regular quests to prove their fealty and come home horribly wounded. I have seen SO MANY adopted knights DESPONDENT because their liege keeps them cooped up in a castle and won't let them go on quests. If you want an armored warrior who will be happy in your castle you need to get a castellan. They're closely related to the knight breed but adapted to the castle environment.

GUNS TOO BIG
Come on, boys. My father wants to see you. I think we'll pass, thanks.
Day 21: A poem on nicknames
I called you by a manās name
so I could hold it nearer,
ask for your brotherās hoodie
from your shoulders
Run my nose over shed cornsilk curls
Kyle
Come a little closer in the schoolyard so I forget
we arenāt one body
Iām always bigger than what I love
and wish I could've been made easier to hold
Day 20: Use a mythical animal as a metaphor for a contemporary personās life and include one spoken phrase
HeĀ
emerges
from a wooded tomb
like a god you can touch
Places his face in her bandaged hands
āMe tangereā he says,
mane a snowy down,
new robes at her feet
The cleanest sheāll ever be
Dead tonightĀ
tomorrow
reborn
Day 19: Poem based on Florilegium by Sylvia Legris with help from Language of Flowers
He took me in a bed of weeds,
cornsilk torn upon crushed cornflowers,
and I am not sure why theyāre called bachelorās buttons
Day 18: Pieces of a longer poem w/dramatic and operatic imagery and rhyme
There she idles in the cloister
echoing silence from each passing sister
The sun, flat and wan, blanches early French winter
She recalls the jewels that once bled from stained glass
No longer pulsing with emerald light like low water
Her prayers grow faint, Godās name heavier on her tongue
In her throat, faith goes, long-gone
I envision this as a piece of a longer poem about a nun who buries herself alive and turns into a hare, choosing what she'll become. AAABC rhyme pattern? maybe AABCA or AABAC?
Notes to self: witchcraft as lesbianism, tearing off habit-play with that word. Nakedness, soft skin, she grows wild and runs in the night
