This is Caius, Nevemancer and master of the soulful gaze, whose beautiful uncertain expression I really loved in this screenshot. 💕 This painting took me two hours from start to finish — I’m getting faster! And I’m trying to play with color palettes a bit more. I left a few rough sketchy edges in this one, just because they seemed to suit the mood.

If you are from Tennessee, contact your representatives and make it clear that the people do not want this data center. This is an AZA accredited zoo which is home to several species of critically endangered animals, we NEED to protect it. Make your voice heard!

Important to note that Nashville Zoo supports efforts to protect and raise endangered crayfish that exclusively lives in the water basin that the zoo is a part of. I suspect having a data center slurping up all their water and polluting the area would be pretty bad. Devastating even.

So many political posts I hate boil down to "I don't want to organize and work with people I hate and fight for small, incremental victories, I just want to start a revolution where everyone magically becomes an automaton who acts exactly the way I think they should act"

This whole line of thinking comes down to "the current systems and leadership are bad. What we need is a fresh start with only people who are good, and then all the systems will be good". Which is simply not how anything has ever worked!
