Went to a Hallochristmagiving For the New Year party last night. Good thing I ironically bought this shirt two years ago. Guy in the photo is my good friend and coworker Daniel.

I did a photoshoot at my childhood home in Pecos, New Mexico. It was really difficult because it’s since been heartbreakingly neglected. I haven’t been here in over five years. I was hoping that going back would allow me some kind of peaceful nostalgia. It mostly just filled me with dread. 

A few years ago my dad threw away all of my childhood toys. I scavenged around this place hoping that I would find something he missed. I found two pieces of dollhouse furniture but not much else. 

I don’t really know how to feel about this place. It honestly felt like stumbling into an abandoned house. No warmth left.

Here’s a photo of my back tat now that it is all healed up. 

For those of you who don’t know this tattoo is of the constellations over Santa Fe NM (where I was born) on January 12th 1996 (when I was born). All of the constellations that are outlined hold some special importance to me. For example I have the constellations Scorpio and Sagittarius outlined because my mom and dad are both scorpios and my sister is a Sagittarius.  

I have many constellations that are only stars right now, but as time goes on I will outline them as they become significant to me. The idea was that this tattoo will grow as I do.
