HEY EVERYONE. As you may or may not have heard I’m opening commissions for the first time in my life to help raise money for my cat’s vet bills as he was recently hit by a car. I’d like to start off by saying he’s going to be OK. He luckily dodged any of the more immediate life threatening injuries that can happen to cats when hit by a car. Despite this the bill is still going to be extensive and we’ve already put down a $2000 deposit to cover the immediate care he received and that cost is going to rise with the surgery for his jaw. Money is already tight after Christmas and next month my mother and I are moving so this couldn’t have happened at a worse time.

So with that out of the way here are my prices

About Kaneki

I think the fandom needs to calm down a little, as impossible as it seems. Just……chill and wait until he’s not in a traumatic life-or-death situation, and then see what happens.

We have no evidence that he is “evil” or “psycho” or whatever. Just……very, very stressed and facing two incredibly dangerous foes that have been brutalizing him. Not simply him, but both have been thorns in his side for some time and hurt people he cares about. Kanae has been trying to kill him and the Quinx for months, and he’d been gunning for Aogiri’s leader for quite some time as both Kaneki and Sasaki.

Boy has every reason in the world to be cranky as hell. It would hardly be the first time that he has fucked some people up and acted brutal, only to revert back to his normal, kind self when things were calm.

Let’s wait until he’s out of that situation, and see how he behaves and what he decides to do.

                         Do  devils  love  each  other?   Do  they  walk  arm  in  arm  in  hell  saying,  "Ah,  you are  my  f r i e n d,  how  I  love  you, “   things  like  that  to  each  other?   It  was  a  rather detached  intellectual  question  I  was  asking,  as I  did  not  believe  in  HELL.   But  it  was  a matter  of  a  concept of evil,  wasn’t  it?   All  creatures  in  hell  are  s u p p o s e d  to  hate  one  another,  as  all  the  SAVED  hate  the  DAMNED,  without  reservation.   I’d known that all my life.  It  had  t e r r i f i e d  me  as  a  child,  the  idea  that  I  might  go  to  heaven  and  my  mother  might  go  to  hell  and  that  I  should  hate  her.  I couldn’t hate her.  And  what  if  we were  in  hell  together?   Well,  now  I  know,  whether  I  believe  in  hell  or  not,  that  vampires  can  love  each  other,  that  in  being  DEDICATED TO EVIL,  one  does  not  cease  to  love.

"What happened to you? Why are you like this?"

The question was so sudden, so out of place that Kaneki had no idea how to form a response for a few moments. “Why?” He repeated softly, gazing at the investigator. 

Kaneki knew the question was genuine. This unique investigator wanted to know about how his life had tipped itself upside down, how he went from being the meek human to taking the role of the monster.

He knew telling his story would be pointless because how did anyone judge an existence like his? He wanted to tell him. “I’ve been through a lot but I don’t think anything that I can say will change the fact that I’m a monster now.” He couldn’t though. 

“I had to give up on my humanity. I was weak and naive.”

Halloween mood aside, my blog is now officially one year old! Well actually I’m three days early but it’s Thanksgiving so I thought it’d be a perfect time for me to do it since well I’m thankful! It’s been a short journey actually, time flies when you have a lot of fun. Being one year old I’ve seen a lot of people go but I’ve also had a lot of people stay and along the way I’ve also met a lot of new people too. This community has brought me so many emotions good or bad and while my parents may say that writing is a waste of time, I think that focusing on this blog has helped me grow as a person. It’s not even about Hinami, I love her and overtime I feel as if I’ve partook in so much of her (even if she belongs to Ishida Sui) but I would not have gone anywhere just flaunting my love for her. It’s thanks to everyone here that I have come so far, new or old, mutuals or not, personal or rp blog, in the end it doesn’t matter because you are following me and (hopefully) implying you wish to interact with me. So for this list I’m listing everyone (who’s been active for the last two weeks) that follows me. (Legit if you can’t find yourself go ctrl+F and if you’re still not on come to my inbox I’ll offer a poem about your muse in apology)

Because in the end it’s not about me, it’s about you. You are the ones who have allowed me to keep a blog for so long and feeling so excited just like the first day I made this blog.

so… it was true after all. no use in denying anymore, huh ???  but everything felt so muddled. just what did he mean by ‘becoming like me’ ??? just what happened to him… ??? what did kaneki — him — they go through ??? whatever it was, it had to be terrible, judging by his mirror’s tone of voice… the way he phrased it. the forlorn undertones… his white hair, like beautiful, puffy snow on a gentle winter’s day. was that the product of a blizzard ??? the aftermath; the remains of chaos and destruction. god, this wasn’t fair. it wasn’t fair for him. however, wouldn’t that be saying it wasn’t fair for himself either ???  this made his brain shudder with confusion. he was so c o n f l i c t e d.

‘ please … please … ‘ words were breathless; airless whispers — but dripping with a desperation. he felt so… lost ??? emotions were an indecipherable crypt. was he upset ??? scared ??? bewildered ??? mad ??? guilty ??? maybe this was a blessing instead of a bad omen ??? he could avoid… avoid… messing up ??? was he telling himself that this other him was the manifestation of mistakes? — no, no, no. that’s a cruel way to think.

‘ don’t … don’t apologize. i… i don’t know what happened to you… but… ‘ he inhaled through grit teeth. the entire time, he was still as a statue, frozen in place — but he started to move. his footsteps were slightly dragging, but he approached his doppelganger carefully, the corners of his lips deepening into a shaking frown. it’s okay… it’s okay. in this moment, everything is fine, right ??? nothing’s gone wrong… but that wasn’t enough. kaneki stood in front of the man, staring into his visible eye. iron grey, just like his own… t h o u g h with a swipe of his hand, the tip of his finger was sneaking under one of the thin straps of his pale eyepatch. in a couple swift movements, he was unhooking the veil, taking it off and letting it dangle at the end of his digit. he was a little less quick and rough with the latter — reaching forwards to slide off shiro’s dark version. both… gone. here, they were safe. alone. it’d be okay. they didn’t need them right now, right ??? he swallowed hard, looking down at the covers sprawled in his palm. he closed his fist around them — and though it was faint, his fingers were trembling. small tremors wracked his body. this was so much to process… to comprehend. should he have kept quiet, he wondered ??? could he come to terms with this… ??? ‘ are you the ghoul me ??? ‘ he asked, his voice soft and hushed despite the quavers that distorted his pronunciation. kaneki lifted his head, peering up at his visage.  ‘ … do you … still feel lonely ??? a — and fearful ??? what do you feel now ??? who have i become, ka… kaneki ??? ‘ who are you ???

Don’t apologize.

They were just simple words but coming from the person that he ended up failing so much in the past... They lifted the weight off of Kaneki’s shoulders and the guilt that he knew that he deserved to feel for all of the things that he had done wrong. He was so naive, believing that Yamori would let all of the people that he had started to care for survive if he just listened to him without putting up a fight. 

He was lied to though and he should have seen it. His kindness, his old ideology of being hurt rather than hurting others and his naivety is what put him into this position. 

“Apologizing is the only thing that I feel like I can do, Everything that I had to go through was my own fault, I caused it all because of my inability to do anything but-” His voice shook and he was aware of the fact that his knuckles were turning white because of the way that his nails were digging into his palms. “...for some reason I cannot think of you the same way, I cannot believe that anything you could possibly go through will end up being your fault at all.” 

He just couldn't comprehend it. He couldn't lay any blame on his ( human? ) self even though they were alike in so many ways. Kaneki just couldn't blame him. 

He almost freezes when his eyepatch is suddenly removed but he knows there is no reason to really be afraid. 

He knows that it’s okay. 

“I- Ah, I suppose you could say that. I had to give up my humanity.. I had to accept the fact that I was a ghoul and no longer human but you’re still struggling with that, right?” He feels guilty for the way that it sounds so he looks away for a moment. 

“Lonely? I do still feel lonely, just like you. I miss Hide so much but it’s safer if I keep a distance between us. We’re not that different, Ken. I suppose I'm just colder because I can’t appear to be weak. I need to protect the ones that I love..” 

He offers a sad smile and he feels like he can allow himself to be vulnerable for a moment.

“I fear the same things that you do and perhaps that’s why I don’t feel so alone at the moment.”

Heaven tears her from the sacred place, as she advances with lent steps and gaze averts sideways; there is no escape from her vigilant sight. Echoing, her words remind one of a devil who tempts and drags those who have tasted from the forbidden fruit into the depths of Hell and feasts on them, yet he is one to have survived netherworld’s horrors and has emerged from such dreary place, her vivid eyes taking notice of such change: he is no fool she can ensnare into her net once more    he’s matured since then and bloomed into a lethal flower who spreads naught but destruction’s seed. ❝ You look tired    have you been sleeping properly? ❞ Tender, almost motherly, her tone is exceedingly sugary, vowels coated in honey, whereas there lies naught but her own twisted sense of humour: she who has tricked him once, now stands afront this boy who no longer seems to hold the same naivety which she once has looked down upon.

“I suppose it has..” He speaks softly, aware of the fact that even though he couldn't direct any hatred towards her, she was still the one who tore away what mattered the most to him. 

His humanity. 

Perhaps being unable to despise her at all after everything that she did only illustrated the fact that he is indeed a fool. He knows that he is far too gentle even though he has accepted that he now lives as a ghoul rather than a human. “That’s a rather pointless question to ask considering I'm sure that you already know the answer.”  

Sleep never came to him peacefully. 

He wants to ask why it matters to her but he already suspects that she is only messing with him rather than being genuine. He has a lot of questions for her actually but he can’t seem to spill any of them out except for one. 

“How do you feel about the fact that I've never hated you? Even though everything that I have gone through is because of you.” He wonders if it’s because of the fact that he had a silly crush on her but he highly doubts it. 

It can’t be because of that.

He was dozing off without meaning to, leaning against Kaneki’s shoulder as the black haired male read aloud to him. Kaneki’s voice was so soothing, he couldn't help being lulled into sleep by it. 

He heard Kaneki speak softly about something that wasn't related to the book and he was strangely embarrassed because of the words coming from his human side. 

“I suppose I don't know that..” He mumbled even though he was grateful. He wasn't praised often so he did appreciate it a lot.
