an eye for aesthetics is what the manager had said -- followed by a rather awkwardly placed: “and it’s not because you’re from kalos, oh no! i-i’m just saying that based on your pokemon! i-i’m not like that!” -- before shooing amie off to a nearby floral shop. he carried a list of flowers in his hand: a bouquet of purple irises, yellow buttercups, baby breath, and a flower of his own choice -- something that would fit the color theme. he thought for a moment and looked behind him to see if his gloom was following behind, which he was...much slower than he’d expected. he secures saku in his arms, laughing quietly when the gloom sighs with relief.
strong and silent describes someone who is tough and quiet, but -- while his gloom may commonly be described as silent -- amie personally didn’t think saku as (mentally) strong. red was he when bee flew with a zweep. he writes that down on a scrap piece of napkin. so, when he and appeared in a floral shop, he expected saku to be hiding behind his legs...
and not in front of another gloom. his gloom, his saku, body as bright of a carmine as his pungent flower bud, was standing in front of another gloom. his pokemon’s body shook as he nudged on another gloom’s arm. and amie observed saku’s awkward exchange between the other gloom in shock.
