Wolves, wizards, revenants, selkies and mermaids; malevolent fairies, lovesick harpers and demonic cats are among the characters who people these stories. Join us from the comfort of your own home to hear local storyteller and musician, Bob Pegg, tell stories that were once heard round winter firesides all over the Highlands. As well as being a storyteller, Bob is a musician who interweaves his tellings with the sounds of instruments, including flutes and penny whistles, ocarinas, scallop shells and the jaw harp.   All Bob’s stories in the session are taken from his book, Highland Folk Tales illustrated by John Hodkinson and available to buy from the Groam House Museum book shop.
