Brunch with my friend!
You know I took myself on a date today, I got all dressed up and went to Starbucks, I wasn't sure abt doing it, but I decided to do it just for fun and accidentally ended up befriending a super cool girl. So yeah, go out for and with yourself too, you never know what may happen!
Me but dead in a swimming pool at night
Low quality pic of my little summer road trip. Listening to music in a car❤️❤️ Especially at night tho
ABOUT GLOW UP CULTURE:
You must be no stranger to glow up culture, I mean, it's really popular, and maybe you even wished to have a glow up. But the thing is, you don't NEED to glow up, especially if you're a teenager reading this. You don't need to glow up to enjoy music, hanging out with your friends, your hobbies, your passions, etc... Your life won't start after you have a glow up. Don't force yourself to "improve". And stop calling your old self ugly. You weren't. Your old self is the reason you're the way you are now. You are how you should be at this moment.
And even if you want to have a glow up, you don't need to do it like they do on tik tok. No need to do a 2 hours long skincare routine that is honestly expensive af. Or you don't need to wake up everyday at 6 am. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's not always YOUR way of glowing up. I think the best way to glow up is to just synchronise the you of your mind with the physical you. What I mean by that is be unapologetically yourself in how you present yourself. Don't be scared to really show off your personality with your clothes, accessories, hair, makeup,etc... And also experiment! Just show off yourself and your style, your taste! And do what makes you happy and healthy (healthy can be different for everyone too), so if it's a 2 hours long skincare routine or waking up at 6 am do it!
Also, glow up results shouldn't look the same for everyone. No need to have a small button nose or a super sharp jawline. You should also show off your features! Do your makeup in a way that enhances your face instead of hiding it. Of course, there's nothing wrong with countouring your nose, for example, I also do it sometimes! But you should do it because you want to and not out of necessity, because there's no necessity! Learn to accept yourself!
And finally, it's okay if you don't care about being pretty! It's true! Some people don't care! It's okay because we are all more than our looks! As long as you feel good this way it's great! So yeah there's nothing wrong with improvement just don't feel forced to do it a certain way.
Anyways, I'm done ranting, so yeah I wish you a very pleasant night or day idk
I went to see Zoolander at my friend's! Best movie I've seen in a while. Also I'm showing off my cool choker
