happy Juneteenth to black fans in fandom specifically 🫶🏿 love yall
The pigs in Mississippi just murdered a baby, A BABY! A ONE YEAR OLD INFANT!
Protests erupt in Senatobia after one-year-old Kohen Wiley killed after police responded to report of shoplifting
Even if she HAD stolen the diapers... Why are you shooting at someone over diapers. That wasn't because he cared about no damn theft. He wanted to shoot, and he killed a one year old over it.
bringing a sort of "slavery is still alive and well in US prisons" vibe to the office Juneteenth post that my higher ups don't really like
From what I understand slavery was never actually abolished in the us. It is still legal and all.
the amendment that "ended" slavery specifically left permission for slave labor as punishment for convinced criminals and our inmates have been legally exploited ever since, yes
not a bummer, say it louder
wyllach community do u exist i miss them
alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined
46-60, less inclined
over 60, more inclined
over 60, less inclined
Thank you for helping with this data collection. Please rb for as big a sample as possible!

Yet another new study debunked the basis for the anti-trans sports bans. It was never about sports but for creating legal avenues for exclusion and abjection. This is one of the largest analyses ever conducted, involving 52 studies and 6,485 trans people. Read the study here.
post so nice had to reblog it twice and force it down everyone's throats
At minimum about 4.5 thousand people liked this without reblogging it.
We gotta fix that.
"This person has a secret onlyfans!" "This artist does NSFW commissions!" "This author writes porn on the side!" I cannot begin to tell you how swag and awesome that is.
I’d like to enjoy a story w/o being slapped back into reality like this guys

Hello I don't know if you're a fan of Dungeons and Dragons or other TTRPGs but I wanted to ask in either that short of world or any fantasy setting how do you think magic effects hair styling. I know I make it a point to have all my Black characters know mage hand because I know how useful an extra hand would be while doing my hair. But wanted some feed back on other ways magic would impact
Ice: I personally am a fan of using the range of reality. On one end, if you live in a fantasy world and you as the creator are handwaving everything else for everyone else, then I'm not too pressed about the hair. If we're all mermaids, no I'm not about to care about salt wearing on curls because we're mermaids. Surely we were born with some resistance, living underwater.
But if you're in a world where it's implied these people are taking care of their hair in some way, or that time and the elements should be affecting the way they look, and it's just the Black people whose hair is handwaved or completely ignored, THEN I have a problem. Especially because in a world full of magic, we have options! I like it best when we do hair care but Magicked™.
So like, I want faux locs for example. In a world with magic, yeah I can do that mage hand you're talking about to have it done. Or let's say I need some curl creme that can also protect my hair from the underwater city; boom I pull it out of my magic bag and I run it through my afro, and now my hair is both Done and magically reinforced! I really enjoy when a story shows that while there's still magic, the creator has a real world understanding of how my hair works enough to make it look like something I myself could incorporate into my daily schedule.
☕Mr. CBC: Resident D&D player here. Mage hand, prestidigitation, minor illusion, a familiar. Magic is readily one of the easiest ways to get whatever hairstyle you want in a short amount of time. All those realistic rules and worries that we have in real life? Gone. Wake up, wave your hand, say your phrase, use your components and boom awesome hairdo in less than 6 seconds.
That being said, if you start describing how people take care of their hair, even in this magical world. Then it's a good idea to understand how this would be done and how to describe it. Maybe the mage hand is used to part hair, while the character is braiding another part. The water spell... I can't remember what it is, create water? Move water? Whatever, maybe they use that to quickly dry their hair. Endless possibilities. ☕
1st of all the idea of magic curl creme fills me with great joy I will be adding that to my worlds. Second thanks for the feedback I'm fairly inexperienced in my loc journey and don't know that much about other hairstyles. But you've given me a great place to start
Male writers writing female characters:
“Cassandra woke up to the rays of the sun streaming through the slats on her blinds, cascading over her naked chest. She stretched, her breasts lifting with her arms as she greeted the sun. She rolled out of bed and put on a shirt, her nipples prominently showing through the thin fabric. She breasted boobily to the stairs, and titted downwards.”
‘ She breasted boobily to the stairs, and titted downwards’ is the greatest fucking sentence I have ever read.
THE ORIGINAL??
(smh) Never thought I’d see it in the wild. Yet here it is. :)
always gotta reblog the ‘breasted boobily’ post
Made a diagram for which bg3 ships I like
Individual versions which are easier to read:

My ships with a heart to my faves
You can also see my biases for some characters
I am now realizing this chart makes me seem like a significantly bigger fan of minthara than I actually am
It is a great tragedy when your most disliked character is the Fandom favorite.
